My single room was small but had all that I needed: a comfortable bed and a good shower, although slightly cramped for drying after the shower. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of options. Hayley and John were good hosts.
Everything. It was outstanding, warm and friendly
Very friendly host. Amazing breakfast options. Good location
For the light sleeper people the main street can be noisy at night if you have a room at the front of the house
Everything about The Ryedale was excellent especially Johnnies cooked breakfasts which were delicious Johnny & Hayley were the perfect hosts Highly recommend The Ryedale Very comfortable stay & extremely clean
The Ryedale is in a perfect location for a family holiday on the Isle of Wight. It's a short walk to Shanklin beach for an early morning stroll or jog; and close by are beautiful gardens to enjoy after dinner in one of the many restaurants in town. It's also a good base if you intend to venture across the Isle. We stayed in the family room which was very clean and tastefully decorated, so it felt like coming 'home' after a long day out. The hosts prepare a tasty breakfast; and guests can make use of The Ryedale's dining room space on a night-in having a takeaway. You get free parking at Shanklin station with your booking at The Ryedale, as well as a discount for the Ferry crossing.
With a stay at The Ryedale in Shanklin, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Small Hope Beach and Pirates Cove Adventure Golf.
