Friendly staff good breakfast
Friendly staff, great breakfast, lovely room
Car park bays were very narrow
Really friendly hosts. Great location for walking into the old village
Could hear a lot of creaking floor boards when people in room above were walking about, especially when they got up in the middle of the night.
We were pleased to find that the hotel was situated in a quiet, leafy part of Shanklin. The hotel and its award-winning front garden looked delightful. Inside, the hotel felt very welcoming with plush carpeting everywhere and a fresh smell. Our room was beautifully decorated ; it had a comfortable bed, plus a super sea view. Coffee and tea making facilities were fine. The staff were absolutely lovely. The dining room also had a view of the sea and the room was well decorated. The choice of food was brilliant and the cooked breakfast was delicious!
The hot water for the shower took a while to come through and the shower pressure was too fierce. Could have done with a second towel rail in the bathroom, and maybe a small shelf over the sink. Also a more obscuring blind by the toilet ; I was not sure what could be seen from outside!! The TV had a habit of cutting out occasionally, but had a good choice of channels.
excellent breakfast nothing at all wrong with the hotel just not impressed with booking.com rewards still waiting
