perfect.Every thing here is perfect. the location is good which is very close to the Col Rasier. and staffs are very nice and helpful. 10/10 rated
Room is very comfortable. Bathroom excellent condition, separate toilet. Nice fear food.
The main road just in front of window. Too noisy with open windows
Great hotel with lovely staff, good location, and a nice restaurant. (+) The room is comfortable with a lot of space and a big Terrace. (+) The staff is excellent and helpful! Also, it's important to say that the restaurant staff gave us adorable attention and Matteo was one of our favorites! (+) Breakfast very good, and it's the same every morning. Dinner changed every day and including appetizers, starters, main course and second course, dessert (like good Italian restaurant). If you're vegetarian, don't worry- they definitely can handle it, and you will be able to experience the dinner as well. You can also choose wine for extra pay (reasonable prices). (+) The two outdoor whirlpools placed in front of a fantastic view! (+) High Wifi signal+ working with up to four devices! (+) Free parking nearby (+) Excellent housekeeping service
(-) Whirlpools are open just between 14:00-19:00 so if you are after a long day you won't be able to enjoy there. (-) Bathroom too small for an average adult (-) At the morning you will hear the noise from the street, but it's not a big deal due to low traffic in this town.
We loved everything about the hotel - beautifully located, very nice modern rooms with a designer touch, absolutely spectacular food (we took the half-pension option), and super-friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful (for example preparing a sumptuous cold-platter buffet in our room when we arrived very late the first night because of delays at the airport; or being very helpful with tips for hikes and outings). Plus the (free) afternoon ‘brunch’ with cakes, fruit and other snacks.
The front desk staff were great and were really really friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were also very accomodating when I asked to change rooms to a room which was not on the ground level. The breakfast and dining area was nice.
My two main issues with the hotel were: 1) the spa hours. One of the main reasons I was willing to pay the rate for the room was because I wanted to use the saunas/spa/wellness center/hot tub once I was finished snowboarding after a long day. Unfortunately the spa hours while I was there were from 2pm-7pm, which to me makes no sense for a hotel that caters to skiiers/snowboarders. Due to those hours, I wasn’t able to use the spa fully during my visit. After snowboarding the Sella Ronda all day, finishing at 5:30pm and doing apres ski, I wanted to use the hot tubs, but by 6:45 they were already no longer hot. Similarly, only one of the saunas was hot at that point. Really disappointing since the spa facilities were a main draw for me to stay there but the short window they are open for makes them hard to use. 2) the location on/facing the road. The hotel faces the main road into Selva, and views on the ground floor stare straight into the parking lot. There are decent views of the mountains but it is not what comes to mind when I think of a relaxing mountain retreat. The other downside of the location is that taxis into Selva cost 12 euro each way, which isn’t ideal. Overall, the hotel itself is nice (like an upscale lodge), but I wouldn’t say it was particularly luxurious or a great value for the money, especially given the limited hours of the spa.
