Old furniture with damage and obvious wear.
The room was large and beautiful. We had our own terrace as well. Phenomenal stay!
I have returned to the Sorento many times never to be disappointed. It has old world luxurious charm and the staff is always polite. My pup Lavender (Aussie Doodle) is always welcome too and she feels right at home.
Parking price is high.
The room was gorgeous. The hotel was lovely as well.
The hotel room was beautiful. The original staff member that checked us in was great however throughout our stay the staff became less and less pleasant. The first night we slept there a concert of some sort was going on on the floor above us that caused GREAT disruption. The front desk gentleman told us of the concert prior to it taking place and told us to notify him if the noise became to much. The noise WAS unbearable and the front desk was NO help. Our last morning there around 8am or so all the surrounding noise became a huge bother not to mention once again the floor above us had impossible noise going on that literally woke us out of our slumber. I had to hurry to dress to go up to the 7th floor only to be told that they were putting in a dance floor. Literally right above our sleeping quarters. Upon check in the front desk gentleman told us our room was basically "sound proof". Could NOT have been further from the truth. This was supposed to be a lovely weekend surprise for my boyfriends 36th birthday and the horrible ongoing noises accompanied with the shaking and rattling of things in our hotel room made it VERY impossible to enjoy a nice QUIET weekend away. Again the room was lovely but the noise pollution easily ruined the atmosphere and occasion for us.
No one tell me the expensive overnight fees and they gave me a different room
