No showers except for the onsen
just the capsule was very nice, but many capsules in one big room. clean in general.
very bad customer service, they DO NOT have normal showers, only the "public shower" yeah is public, something typical in japan i think. First experience in this kind of bathroom, so unconfortable, no privacy when taking a shower, no curtains and a bit weird. I think it is unhygienic... Also you only can leave the luggage until 13:00 after check out, if you want to leave until 18:00 they charge you 500 yenes only for a few more hours.. The system they use to enter to the hostel with your shoes is so weird and complicated. I do not recommend this place. Not cheap for be a "Hostel"
Different locker sizes to accomodate luggage was a nice touch. The bath was comfortable. A free breakfast voucher was provided.
Breakfast token for the McDonald's across the road was a nice addition (other coffee/breakfast spots available) Onsen/Shower-room Bag Lock up for oversized bags and to explore the city Convenient location for seeing Sapporo
Capsule was too short for me, head and toes touching each end and I'm only 5'10" anyone taller would really struggle Lights in corridor stayed on all night and the screen wasn't thick enough to block all the light out Nosy neighbours, but i suppose that comes with the territiory of a capsule hotel
It's an okay place to stay if just for one night. Very Showa-era interior. They give you a complimentary breakfast coupon you can redeem at McDonald's and a few other fast food joints.
It can get pretty noisy with people coming in and out if your pod is close to the doors.
