Cons: The hotel's ratings are overated. Breakfast was rather poor in variation and the hotel's facilities are not really as described in the photos and comments. The rooms were rather old, though clean and well cared for. The pool is neither indoor nor outdoor. It's basically a one lane pool somewhere at the mezzanine of the hotel, in between the hotel building and the back building. The gym facilities looked worn out, cables coming from the ceiling and poor lighting.

Pros: I always use this hotel when I am in Sao Paulo. The location is very nice, I always feel safe and there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops just around the corner. All the hotel staff is exceptionally friendly! Rooms are spacious and have a minibar. The beds are really good to my taste. The hotel in general is quite clean I would say.

Cons: Depending on the room you get the WIFI signal may be bad or even non-existing so I had to change room in the past. Try to get a room close to the elevators in order to avoid this. Also TV signal quality (picture and sound) is poor for many of channels. I think in the course of the coming years the place needs some renovation because all the furniture, carpets, bathrooms etc are a bit dated, not necessarily broken but just not modern and comfortable as you would expect nowadays.

Cons: The rooms are really old they don’t match the property, the shower is rusty the mirrors are rusty the wood is chipped and old. We changed rooms Incase it was just that one but they put us in a worse room. We were travelling all day and the staff don’t speak English so we just had to stay in the bad room because we were just too tired to say anything more.

Quality of the bed of really good and you can't event list too noise coming from the streets around. Breakfast was pretty good, but you should also try the breakfast at Bella Paulista bakery once which is pretty good. When I arrived at my room, it had a bad small coming from the pipes, however, staff could manage to find another room for me in about 30 minutes, and this ones was perfectly fine.

On return i was asked to wait for 5 minutes then the reception staff made a point of ignoring me until 2pm exactly. Its a shame they could not be a bit more helpful as the room was available already but he just wanted to make a point! The lobby and restaurant were very busy and noisy with a conference function, so the wait was even more frustrating after a long trip. Reception or restaurant could not help in providing change for the taxi. Simple things matter.

Cons: They don’t pay attention to details. For example my room had one bath towel and one face towel. I requested couple more towel sets and they only brought an additional bath towel. Towels were very old. No tissues in bathroom or in the room. Elevator noise was very loud in my room.

Cons: I could not connect my laptop in the room because there was no European socket in the room and no connectors provided. The staff behaved properly but I did not feel really welcome. I had a feeling thay did not understand my questions (in English or French). The room was essentially clean but the kitchennette looked kind of "unfresh" - anyway, we did not use it.

Pros: Location was very good. Rooms are comfortable, although small .
Cons: With a couple of exceptions, the staff was not particularly friends and/or helpful. They certainly smiled, but that was it. They didn't go out of their way to answer questions and/or help with basic requests. Rooms are extremely small. They could have achieved a little more comfort for the same investment (e.g., shower). Unlike most hotels, they asked me to pay 1/2 day extra to get into the room 4 hours earlier (my flight arrived in the early morning) and they asked me to pay for baggage storage for the couple of hours after I left. I know it is called "budget". But in reality it was a "cheap". Be ready for that and you'll be happy.

Cons: Sunday nigth I tried to eat. They say they have room service 24 hours a day, everyday, but IS NOT TRUE. The concierge at the reception Sunday night, who gave me a bad option to eat. He told me to go alone to the restaurant all dark at night to get knife and fork to eat what I bought through iFood app. And on Monday, no swimming pool...

Cons: The sliding door didn't close properly, there was a 3 cm gap between the door and the door side and it was a very cold night, the room was chilly and we were able to hear a lot of noise from the neighborhood.

Cons: I thought that after my last stay, 2 years ago, they would have refurbished the bathrooms. It’s kinda old and not very functional... water was leaking out of the tap, and the shower head was too powerful and was spilling water everywhere despite the shower curtain, and the toilets weren’t flushing well. Had to flush 4/5 times.
