The hotel is one block away from the sea (but don't expect to have a good view from your window). Many good restaurants are close to the hotel.
The breakfast does not offer any regional options (geleia de bacuri, buriti, sapoti,...). The room for the breakfast provides a very good reflection for any noise, voice, etc.

Good location and good cost/benefit.
Wifi was not working one day. The bathroon lighting is very weak.

Overall the hotel is good. The location is close to the beach, even though you need to walk a bit to get to Praia do Calhau (you can get there by car in 5-8min). The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also good. I’d say it’s a good deal.
The staff was not very friendly during check in and check out and they don’t offer room service at all. Since I arrived late I’d like to have had something in the hotel, what was not possible. So, if you don’t mind not having room service, this is a great place to stay in Sao Luis.
