Everything else - friendliness & helpfulness of staff, location and room. Would certainly go back.!!
Unaware that the restuarant was closed on the day of our booking, but the staff still gave us tortilla and chips.☺
Fabulous location with spectacular views. Easy free parking. Pleasant staff.
The lift was apparently not working - at least having stood in it for well over 5 minutes after pressing the button for our floor without any movement, we two septugenarians climbed the stairs to our top floor room. This happened on at least three occasions. One of the bedside lights did not work. The toilet seat was of a particularly nasty cheap plastic and did not feel secure. The shower head was cracked. Although apparently clean, there was a long black hair in the sink - I'm bald and my travelling companion is completely white haired.
Nothing as The room was dated, fusty, damp, had huge condensation problem, leaking rusty radiator which had leaked hugely onto mega-old carpet leaving massive stain which was then partially covered by dirty rug. There was damp and silverfish in the shower room. Although the toilet and sink were clean, overall the rest left a lot to be desired. Getting in and out of the tiny over bath shower was a major slip hazard. The grounds were unkempt and there was a large amount of foliage evident in the gutters. The swimming pool was one of the least inviting we have seen.
Practically everything we liked nothing.
Internet did not work in our room. Hall smelled stale. Our room was above the bar so it was noisy late into the night. Early in the morning we could hear water running and Loud footsteps above us. The pillows were very hard.
Location is fine, outside the historic center. View is nice, but can only be seen after climbing stairs in the room.
The shower temperature varied constantly, the bathroom was not really clean. Personnel at the desk did not speak English nor tried to understand us. Noise; we heard the neighbour snoring.
