I love the high ceilings, wooden beams on the ceilings, and heavy doors. This hotel is full of character since it is a historic building. The bathroom was modern and very nice.
The internet was out. They couldn't run my credit card because of this. I'm glad I had enough cash. I also needed to get online for some other issues. Overall, that didn't ruin my stay. It was just a little inconvenient.
clean, comfortable and well located for walking to everything
staff members weren't bad, but could have made a little more effort to be friendly & helpful
Location to main plazas.
Size of the room.
The colonial style of the hotel. The location. The staff
The room was small
The location was perfect with plenty of restaurants near by. The hotel is very beautiful and felt very clean, they definitely take care of this gem of architecture. The staff was very kind and made for a great overall experience. My family and I would stay here again with no issue. Thank you for the hospitality.
The parking was confusing as we arrived, there are cones at the corner of the street where the hotel is with the name painted on them, you leave your car here with the hotel valet since the street is for pedestrian only. It really was a matter of once you know than it's no issue. A minor note was to get to the elevator you must go down a flight of ten steps, so if you have heavy luggage or a stroller keep this in mind.
With a stay at Hotel Madero, you'll be centrally located in Queretaro, steps from Guerrero Garden and Temple of Santa Clara. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Free valet parking is available onsite.
