Worst motel ever
Nothing good to say about this place.
Water pressure was bad, water temp. fluctuates, rooms are dirty, smell like cigarettes, out dated, place is falling apart, and service isn't that great either.
Poor overall.
Bed was too big for room so you couldn't even get to the bathroom without climbing over the web. Spent $180 which didn't included continental breakfast. Room only had two towels and one little bar of soap. I can't help but few ripped off.
Sleezy motel
Location was the only good aspect of this motel.
Room was.small, dark and dingy, tape covering the holes in the door. No shades on lamps, noisey neighbors, bed wasn't comfortable. We would NEVER stay there again!!!!! DONT DO IT!!!!
Overall not to bad
Nice location was walking distance to the boardwalk abot a mile walk there, so we drove. The staff was polite and no deposit required. Has Smoking rooms, which is a major bonus, and pet ok.
Well bring your own bedding, the room was kinda cleaned but questions on bedding, I used my own. The police patrol the motel which I wasn't bordered although crime may be high, not sure. Homeless people around because of a 711 store across the street, but again not bothered by, I wouldn't recommend this motel for kids, because there's no pool, alot of weed smoke and potheads, and rooms are small. But if you're going as a couple and not super picky its not bad. I've stayed here before was about the same.
Horrible
Absolutely nothing
The staff was rude, the room was the worst I've ever seen, the grounds were filthy and delapidated at best. People live at this dump. If I had to choose between sleeping in my car or renting a room at this motel I'd absolutely sleep in my car. Steer clear folks, it's that bad.
We stayed for the weekend because we have to drop
It's walking distance from good restaurants and boardwalk and couple miles from downtown. Very close to the university also
Cockroaches in the room, bugs that bites during the night, couldn't regulate water in the shower
Definitely not recommended
NOTHING
This hotel was not at all what was reflected in its listing. Yes, it had a king bed (with cigarette burns in the spread), but very little room around it. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door, the blue counters has ugly white caulking in all the corners. Outside amenities included 33 gal garbage cans on each of the walkways, anti-jimmy plates on the door, a clientele that immediately caused my fiance to say that she would NOT step out of the room alone, the aroma of pot smoking in the air, and the gate to Ocean St having a heavy chain and padlock. I found it totally unacceptable and demanded the reservation be cancelled (after a 1/2 hr arguement) and moved to another motel though because of the last minute arrangements we incurred significant additional costs. The room was nothing like the posted photos or the pamphlets in their lobby.
Old, smelly, 60's style, crappy place.
Nothing
The mattress was old; the room and everything in it was old. There was no elevator. The rate was cheap so all the young drunk kids get a room there and screamed at each other until 2:00 in the morning. At that time another guest came out and screamed at them to shut up and called the police while standing in front of my window. I didn't take a shower because I just wanted to get the hell out of there.
Friendly staff but disgusting.
The staff was friendly, the walk to the boardwalk was only about 15 minutes, you can leave the car parked and walk around as long as you don't mind a 1-2 mile walk each direction.
Besides being bare bones (no provided towels, no furniture aside from beds, no covers on the light fixtures) the rooms were disgusting. The entire motel is run down and the room stunk, the bed sheets had debris in them when the blankets were first pulled back, and the walls were covered in graffiti. I would never have agreed to pay almost $100 for the room had I seen it prior to swiping my card. Pay a little extra to stay somewhere else. The kindness of the staff doesn't clean the bedding or get the horrendous smell out.
Nothing
U get what U pay for.
The desk clerk was exceptionally cooperative in trying to get us a quieter room off the main street.
The area was generally noisy and a little seedy. There were 2 women right outside our room on the 3rd floor at 3:00 a.m. talking loudly. The sink in the bathroom was not clean. It had a yellow sticky substance in it.
It was pretty gloomy and the TV could not get any reception so it made things pretty sad and long night.
nothing
The room was really dirty and was smelling really bad! Don't go there!!!!
There is nothing good in this motel. The room was noisy and very dirty. Strange spots on chairs and floor. Sheets and towel not well clean.
Not a good value for the money. It was very run down. Not at all what I expected for the money I paid.
Close to Beach/Boardwalk
The chipping paint, the noise, overpriced, (spoke with others who paid $89.00!) not enough towels, kleenex on request only, no continental Breakfast as listed, that we knew of, room not available at check-in time, the photos on the website are deceiving. The rooms are not at all attractive! This motel needs work!
nothing
dirty, broken plumbing, very run down, internet photos very deceiving,, I would not have stayed there after seeing room if I had any time to change hotels.
ease of location
we unknowingly received a room facing the main road and it was very load.
NOTHING.It is yacky, dirty, the paint is coming off of the walls.Yacky people around the hotel and in it.I Will never go there again!NEVER!!!
