Pros:Thank you for an enjoyable stay in Santa Cruz. It was a good price for the level of decor and location. We liked the updated decor, the vaulted ceilings, and the grounds felt like we were at camp. Service was great.
Cons:The continental breakfast could be better but it is what it is.
Pros:Rooms were bright and clean and pleasant with country comfort decor. Bed was very comfortable and above average. Great value compared with the price of hotels in town
Cons:Very thin walls. Would have been fine with a more respectful next door neighbor. Apparently it is extremely difficult for the staff to get the water carafe in the lounge refilled. Per the breakfast attendant, that task is impossible until more kitchen staff arrives at 11am. She did fix me up with a to go cup of water eventually, but I found it very odd that between 3 front of the house staff and 2 observed kitchen staff, the large water carafe could sit there empty in front of them all morning and not be refilled even upon request. Please advise staff on hospitality best practices here.
Cons:Room was boiling until 8pm. Has vaulted ceilings and we couldn't stay in the room until the evening. No A/C No hottub No towels at the pool. We asked a couple times but they never came. Nothing open for breakfast, you have to go into town.
Pros:Really liked staying in room 217, great view!

Pros:Staff was nice. Convenient location. Price was good.
Cons:No air conditioning. Not completely clean (hair in the tub, fresh dark stain on the carpet...). Kept getting kicked off the wi-fi. Soda machine was broken.
