Charming, well-run family hotel. Staff gracious and thoughtful. Lobby, patio and dining spaces are welcoming and comfortable as are the rooms. But best of all is the location - the hotel is situated to offer gorgeous, expansive views of the lake and facing mountains. It's also adjacent to the Wolfgangsee peninsula, which makes for an intimate beach area. Bicycles and boats and other equipment are also provided - the former perfect for cycling around the lake.
Breakfast buffet satisfactory, but could be a bit more imaginative.
Friendly, efficient staff. Nice view, beach facilities, easy access to the lake and good location, which is reflected in the price.
Except for the breakfast, the choices on the menu did not look very appealing. On arrival, we ordered an 'oven fresh' sandwich and got something that looked and tasted suspiciously similar to the frozen ham and cheese baguette from the nearest supermarket. Also, it is a pity that they allow smoking in the bar/Wifi reception area, which is a step away from the restaurant and the reception desk. The room furniture, although quite adequate, falls short of the comfort one would expect from a Michelin recommended four star hotel. Taking a shower was a bit awkward, and the hair dryer had the force of the light summer breeze.
The location is just wonderful and the beach right next to the water gives you a chance to just "hop in" whenever it gets too hot
It said there was high speed WLAN, but I had no access at all in my room
This hotel benefit of a very nice situation, in front of Wolfgang lake and only at 2 minutes on foot of the city center. Also located in a very quiet place and propose a very nice and modern spa with jacuzzi, sauna, solarium and relaxation room, actually, a perfect place for relaxing and to get fit. The rooms are completely renewed in a modern style. Hotel with car park, nice terace, wifi free...
the personal attention and the sincere welcom (not the usual staff you see in other hotel). the staff are genuinely helpful and they make you feel very cherchied. they even played some music for us. As the locaion considered,it is extremly close to bus/boat stop and mountain train and the village where you would have all kind of resturents to your taste.
