The water park was one of the better ones me and my children have been to.
I like the perks of staying in a Cedar Point owned hotel so we got into the park 1 hour early. The water park was fun but not as large as we thought.
The rooms need to be redone. The blankets were old and rough. Beds were uncomfortable and it was very loud in the hallways at night. The patio was screened in, wanted to use it but patio chairs were even dirty.
The family atmosphere and how nice everyone there was. The kids loved the indoor water park. Enjoyed the screened in balcony. Room was very quiet.
The room needed to be better vacuumed. Found toe nail clippings in bathroom and by one of the beds.
Cedar Point's Castaway Bay is a combination hotel and indoor waterpark. The inside of the resort is themed to transport guests to an island paradise. The waterpark is situated around a five-story structure with a vaulted ceiling to create a large, spacious place for the whole family relax, unwind and have fun no matter the weather. The waterpark is made up of several different attractions that are great for guests of all ages. For the youngest guests, there's the Castaway Bay Wave Pool as well as the Toddler Tide Pool, made especially for the tiniest swimmers. Older kids can have fun at the Cargo Crossing, a challenging obstacle course for adventurous kids. At the back of the water park is the Grotto Spa, a 50-person spa that's geared toward adults and centered around a waterfall. The rooms and suites offered at Cedar Point's Castaway Bay can sleep anywhere between three and eight guests. Each room comes with three-to-six waterpark passes and modern amenities. Resort guests have their choice of three different restaurants for dining options. First is Mango Mike's, a breakfast buffet on the first floor of the hotel. This massive buffet features a huge range of items like freshly-baked pastries, pancakes, hash browns, french toast, cold cereal, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and hearty plates of biscuits and gravy. Next is Quaker Steak & Lube, where visitors can indulge in some home-style American cuisine on some relaxing patio seating. Finally, just a short drive away is Bay Harbor waterfront dining, one of the area's most popular seafood restaurants. The restaurant is located at Cedar Point Marina, which offers a panoramic vista of the harbor.
