The hotel was very chic and cute at the same time, service was amazing by the night shift guy, bathroom was very clean and ceilings are quite high as in old European houses.
The reception lady was a bit apprehensive on letting me know how a refund of my 2nd night would go, I knew it was her decision, but she told me to ask booking.com 1st, eventually all went well and they generously accepted the refund, but it was a tense few moments knowing I might lose $200 if they couldn't rent the room out !
Great service and great location. Just around Union Square.
Charming, friendly boutique hotel in a great location. Delightful decor and very comfortable bed. We received a very warm, friendly welcome after a day of flying and found this place very relaxing after a long trip.
Nothing, pretty much perfect
Rooms smelt a bit fusty. Decor needs updating. They are going for period French style but doesn’t really work. Overall it was clean but wouldn’t return.
The hotel is in an excellent location!!! Dinner at Jeanne d'Arc was wonderful. The bathroom is limited by lack of counter space for personal items. Shower door leaks. No fan/vent/window in the bathroom results in a very warm, stuffy bathroom. Hair conditioner bottle was tricky ... plastic bottle collapses when you squeeze the product out of the bottle. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Joe. Loved the golden retriever, too! The bedroom itself was clean, bright and lovely, no complaints or suggestions. Adding a small pad of paper/pen to the room would be good. Oh, and those stairs down to the restaurant are deadly!
