Last minute booking and 24 hour reception with friendly staff and baggage storage.
The walls of the room were moldy and the room was anything but clean, despite the smell of bleach when you walk in. The toilet seat was sticky. It felt like all they did was change the sheets and mop the floor. The heating was on and we couldn’t turn it off so we had to keep the window open, for which there was a note saying they advise to keep the windows closed for security reasons... It’s a hostel, so of course there was some noise coming from another dorm. The shared kitchen area was super messy - it wouldn’t hurt to clear out the leftover food once in a while. Breakfast is included but very basic - choice of super sugared cereals and some bread rolls with jam or dulce de leche. I kept it at coffee.
Comfortable beds. Good price. Good location. Comfortable kitchen. Good sheets.
It's too dark in the room. The ventilation is bad. The only shared space is the reception and the chicken. It would be great If there were more couches and shared space just to sit at.
Staff is friendly
The whole place is dated, but that's for many other hotels in bariloche the same. Bathroom floor got all wet after one shower.. Curtain was correctly pulled. Breakfast had a lot of sugar. The room was heated, even though temperatures were high outside.. And then seeing a sticker in the bathroom about saving the environment.. Right..
The team! From allowing us an early checkin, to being full of tips, and coffee! The location is handy to the centre of town, quiet and great shower!
The bed wasn’t as comfortable, but it was clean and warm.
Payment by card in dollars, no bullshit with the rate or extra taxes like in many other hostels. The room was clean and the breakfast is pretty good if you like sweet stuff.
Very simple room, noisy lift, the wifi was weak except in the common room.
