Cons:
After showing up and filling out all the needed paperwork to pick up my reserved rental car it took about an hour to receive the car because they had to wash it. For that amount of time I would it expect it to be clean. It was not. They didn’t have the car size I reserved so they gave me a smaller car. Didn’t tell me beforehand just drove out with a small car and gave to me. After such a wait I took it. No discount. I paid the price of a larger car. The car was old had over 300,000km on it and felt as though it would break at any moment. No a good experience2.0 Poor

A car Chevrolet Corsa model was an unconfortable way of transport especially when you travel longer distances. The dust enter into car, the bags, the dash and everything was dusty. For the type of roads of Argentina, you need a car who has sixth rear when you reach 100 km per hour. This car was very unstable because off problems of design. We spent a lot of money in gasoline, like it was a SUV!! I think if that Hertz pretends hiring cars a that price, Hertz should offer better cars in each category. Adicionally, personal staff was rude and sounds pity.9.6 Wonderful

Pros:
No hassles, drama. Fast and streamlined pickup/dropoff procedure, attentive and well informed checkin clerk. Rate as advertised, permit to visit Chile (extra) added about 10 minutes to the pickup process. Better to book online, this locks in the rate, avoiding many of the local idiosyncrasies, such as playing with restricted mileage. My rate included unlimited mileage. The office I went to, does indeed accept credit cards.Cons:
Car was attacked by a mob of street dogs in Chile. In the future will yell loudly at them. They can be quite vicious and cause serious damage to the car, especially anything that can be pulled off. The spinning wheels seem to set them off. Car rental in Argentina is considerably more expensive than any other place I have been to, yet Bariloche is in fact one of the cheaper places to rent in Argentina, and is anywhere from 60/100% more expensive than Chile. By North American standards, rates, deductibles are extremely high, with a lot of questionable practises not up to international standard. It is gratifying to note that Hertz Argentina by and large keeps to international standards.7.6 Good
