The Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and quality fresh ingredients, Location very good, we would have liked a lift, but the staff were so willing and helpful and carried luggage up to the room. I highly recommend this Hotel.
Open mike night. Location in a safe area. Easy walk to Cathedral and central town. Kind staff. Quiet at night. Fast service. Room cleaning. Iron. Water! Right at a bus stop!!
Afraid a rat would come in open window. V hot night. No screen. Didn’t understand how to turn on lights in bathroom. Unfamiliar set up. Black mold under sink.
The accommodation and staff was perfect, highly recommend to anyone, well stocked bar, excellent owner
Guinness on tap, cricket on the tele! Breakfast was varied and well-presented, but see below. Location and easy access to parking nearby. Salisbury is a lovely city with much to see: Cathedral + Magna Carta... A very pleasant weekend break.
No issues concerned us particularly. The band stopped playing at 11.30p.m. which I was grateful for, as the noise from below in our bedroom meant we had to shout to be heard, but it was a Saturday night, and I appreciate not everybody wants to go to bed early. There were only two people on duty - a cook and a waiter at breakfast. They worked extremely hard and are to be commended, but more staff were needed to cater for the large number of people staying.
The staff where fantastic so helpful. The rooms where clean and well looked after. Brilliant location
