Such a great welcome, made us feel really at home. Always helpful on everything, nothing was too much trouble. It seemed a little plain when we arrived but was actually really lovely. Breakfast was great and it was all very comfortable.
Not a lot.
The hotel was great: each room has their own patio at the back with a great view of the lake (though watch out for mosquitoes if you're sitting out there!), and a pool in front of your doorstep. It is situated just at 1km from the centre or the beach of St Marie de la Mer, and especially when you have bikes it's a great location (5 min bike ride) - far enough to be away from busy tourist central, close enough to enjoy the restaurants and the beach whenever. Friendly, English-speaking host; clean room; great swimming pool and a handy guide in the room for recommendations about the area. Overall, we had a great stay!
While the breakfast was great, I feel like the price of the breakfast is quite high (12 euro p.p), especially as the rooms are not that economically priced either. I feel like for what you get (the hotel itself and the breakfast), it could all be included in the (high, but fair) room price itself. Also, the wi-fi was not working in the room.
We loved staying here, it’s such a comfortable and relaxing place! Every room has a lovely terrace, the bed was very comfy and there were many more room facilities than indicated on booking: airco, cofee and tea, security box, toileteries. The decor is simple but tasty. Cleaning service is very good. We were a bit concerned about mosquitoes but actually there were not so many at all.
Breakfast is good quality but simple, a bit too expensive. I would suggest to add a small clothes rack in each terrace.
The swimming pool was a great asset in the intense heat and we loved the little terrace accessible from our French windows. Celine and Jef were great hosts and we spoke a lot of French!
It was a bit of a walk from the town, especially in the heat.
A very quiet place . Just 12 rooms all facing the Camargue Park . Swimming pool and a good breakfast are part of this small hotel , owned by Celine and Jeff , always available in helping with suggestions .
