Spa with the sea water is great.
Although I asked for a quiet room, the room was noisy.
Good location close to the beach
Hugely over promised and under delivered. I feel the hotel charges a premium but does not provide a premium product. The room was very dated, the window outside the room was smashed, there was water and damp damage. The spa facility was not a relaxing experience and looks nothing like the pictures on booking.com. We had been roughing it in the mountains for 4 nights and wanted somewhere to relax and enjoy semi luxury. Unfortunately I booked using the pictures as a reference rather than reading the reviews. The room didn’t include breakfast which was an additional 17.5 pp. Car parking was 17 per day.
The location and the staff are always lovely
I was told I would get a room near the Rueter with some good Internet speed but on arrival no one knew anything about this. For a four-star hotel it really could do with this addressing.
The breakfast was very good,. The spa was interesting. I especially appreciated the jet of cold water outside the very hot sauna which made it possible to go in multiple times for the heat/steam combination. The gym with its view on the beach and equipment were appreciated by us both and I also enjoyed the relaxation room with its chaises longues also facing the beach. The water from the sea in the pools was a nice temperature but the caps we were required to wear are too tight on the head. Due to that discomfort I didn't stay long in the pools.
Our room was very cold and could not seem to be adjusted to a comfortable temperature the entire time we were there. It was not hot outside either. We usually find air conditioning in hotels to be set way too cold upon arrival. More thought should be given to the waste of energy. If people have to have a frigid atmosphere they can set the temperature down rather than the other way around.
