Really unprofessional staff I experienced one of the most “memorable” hotel staff attitude here. A hotel staff whose first letter of the name is “R”, was too unprofessional and his manager was as bad as him. I called reception to have two forks in the morning and hotel staff, Mr. R said okay, and two forks didn’t delivered to my room for 15 mins, so I called again then he said he will say that to restaurant at that time. After another 15mins, only one fork was delivered. The point was not how he made this stupid mistake or delivered late, the thing was after this. I called Mr. R again for compliment, but the first word from him was not any apology, he started to talk about it’s not his responsibility I needed to call room service and so on. Moreover, when I was talking he never stop talking. He kept saying it was not his problem. Then why he agreed on delivering forks to me at the beginning? He said he was “ trying” to help me. That was an amazing word, what does that mean? He needed to help me because I was paying money and it was not beyond his ability or overrun request. Furthermore, I asked him can I talk to his manager, and he said okay with an attitude that might make everyone get angry. The manager, Ms. D, made me surprised again. What an a wonderful hotel it was. She was even less professional than Mr. R. After I explained the story, the first word came out from her mouse was excuse but not apology. She started to talk about how busy Mr. D was and I needed to call room service and more. And she talks while I was talking all the time. In addition, she said she was surprised to hear this because Mr. D has good reputation in her mind. I don’t care how busy it was or how good his reputation is. The attitude which he and she made was not the one which hotel staff should do to guests. Why should customers care about how are they? Why Mr.R didn’t tell me that he was busy so it might take some time? Why he could not apologize?
Everything was perfect. The view of the rooftop and also from our room was amazing :) the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was huge and super tasty. We totally recommend it.
location was ok but rest was rubbish !! Absolutely NOTHING !!
Stayed in King Suite with Ocean View 1x Extra Large Bed 1) The room was not as described 2) WiFi hardly works 3) I moved a table under & the dirt I found was under it was shocking !! 4) the air conditioning was not even ok but the noise kept me awake all night & when I told the staff at 2am they did nothing !! Instead I had to open the air conditioning and unplug the main source to stop the sounds ! 5) Hardly anyone spoken English 6) Not one room service order came actually correct, they tell you “yah, yah on the phone” but when it comes it’s completely wrong order !! 7) The breakfast is same EVERYDAY !! 8) The rooms are very old and smell bad 9) The beds are ok. 10) The pool is very small like a baby pool Overall would NOT recommend this hotel at all !! If you want to stay here I would suggest paying abit more per night and staying at Hilton down the road. Hilton is Absolutely amazing hotel eaten at the room top and seen rooms absolutely amazing and price difference not by much
Great location at the top of Copacabana beach. From our room we could see the whole way down the beach as well as views across the city to Christ the Redeemer. Great breakfast and rooftop pool and bar.
