4 star? Not even 3. Old, neglected, outdated. Even the lift did not work properly and almost never stopped at the lobby. The mattresses were overused and terribly soft, squeezed into the bed frames and the shower could hardly contain the body of an average size person. I could not sleep the entire night. I complained at the reception and they seems to be aware of the problems. I would like a refund.

Such old, unkept, hotel. In the room nothing was working, shower was either boiling or icecold, hairdryer was broken, bed was smelly with old dusty blanket, aircon noisy. Breakfast extremely poor and lowest quality. BIG NO

“I was only staying for one night for an event I was attending very early the next morning so I was too early for breakfast. The price was very good for Copacabana. Location is 2 blocks from the beach. It's an old building but the rooms have been upgraded. Many restaurants around the area. Staff were very friendly and attentive. For the price and location it's very good value for money.”
