The bed sheet is not so comfortable.
Amazing location! Awesome shower!! Cute room.
I liked everything.
Room was modern and clean. Staff was friendly, especially the young lady that checked us in. My request for a quiet room was accommodated and our room faced a lovely courtyard away from the noise of traffic. The hotel was downtown with lots of restaurants and shops around. Very nice!
I enjoyed the stay immensely! The rooms and place are very clean. The bed is pretty comfortable. The shower is fantastic, but you can't use it at full force because the pipes can't take the drainage rate. So you will have to figure out the correct pressure to keep your shower from overflowing onto the floor. I figured it out, and it did not impact my comfort or satisfaction with my stay. The location is fantastic and the Sandholt bakery across the street is WOW! All in all - LOVED the stay and would gladly choose again when in Reyjavik!
All in all I do not have any complaints. The parking is a pain in the rear. You will have to figure out parking, It is available on the street and we had close spots every night we were there. You will need to add approximately 30 US dollars a day to use those close spaces and stay on top of the meters/time.
The location was great - easy walk to everywhere in Reykjavik (even in the rain lol). It was very clean and well looked after and when our oven wasn’t working they were quick to respond and fix it. The shower was fantastic - never known my partner stay in the bathroom so long. The bed was really big and comfortable - great pillows
Since it was a small studio I expected a separate cooking/dining/chilling space from the sleeping area, but the room was smaller than most hotel rooms I’ve stayed in and there was nowhere to sit and chill out than on the bed. Eating was at the breakfast bar sitting next to each other at the end of the bed facing the wall - this was not ideal or relaxing. Because we knew that eating out was so expensive in Reykjavik we booked a studio so we could make our own breakfast and occasional evening meals. Whilst breakfast was ok it was not a space conducive for an evening meal where we could sit and chat. Saying all that, it was a good room.
