Great location, extremely helpful and attentive st
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, a down home feel. They have a free bar b que set up for yoursupper convenience, pool was great as was the hot tub, conveniently located. They have a 24 hour coffee set up in the lobby which was extremely convenient. Recommended stay for anyone.
The breakfast was good, just in high times in morning demand a little slow coming, but no biggie, just a point not a criticism
Only one thing missing at this hotel
I come to Red Deer 3 times a year for business meetings. We usually stay elsewhere because this hotel is usually booked. However, at this trip there was a room available and I booked it. This hotel has a breakfast area that is very welcoming after a long drive and some of us can gather and have a short relaxing visit before we need to meet for our business meeting. The rooms were large and very well set up for me to sit and read or just relax and watch television. Beds were very comfortable and the staff were helpful. Only one thing marred my visit.
I love to swim. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was that I was looking forward to swimming a few laps in the morning. Whenever I stay anywhere with a pool I swim for an hour every morning. Unfortunately, this pool does not open till 9. Travelling for business, this does not give me any time since my meetings start at 8:30. At night the pool is usually full of children.....which is the way it should be. (; Could the management see fit to allow swimming from 6 am to 9 am as adult swim only? Thank you.
