Location next to the Thames was brilliant and despite being next to a busy road there was no road noise in the cottage.. Supper was deliccccious!
Hot water was a bit unpredicable - guess i was on the end of the pipe.. Bath would have been fine; showering was interesting...!
All the rusty tables on the terrace Perfect for a short visit to see0
Welcoming, helpful staff. Couldn’t have asked for a better front of house service / meet and greet. Beautiful view from my room.
Over priced for the quality of room. Room & bathroom tired, dated, warn out - in much need of a renovation and a good interior designer. A few lights not working in the bathroom, shower terrible - poor pressure and took ages to even warm up. Cooked breakfast tasted metallic - like it was made with cheap ingredients.
We upgraded to stay in one of the cottages which is across from the main hotel in its own grounds and access to the river Thames. It was delightful and cosy with air con. Mini bar and outside table/chairs if you wanted to eat breakfast outside. Talking of Breakfast it was to die for.
We could not fault the stay.
Beautiful location and very helpful, efficient and professional staff.
Associated costs such as the bar and restaurant are pricey. The rooms are a bit dated, but that is also part of the French Horn's charm.
