Pros: Excellent all around but especially the staff they were all very helpful and friendly...highly recommend this place.
Cons: Nothing it was all excellent.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The room is great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect, 3 minute walk out of town, far enough away from the noise of the centre, but close enough to walk in whenever we wanted to. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, couldn't be more helpful, they told us of the best coffee shops and restaurants, which all proved to be true. The hotel was spotless, and the breakfast was the best we had so far in NZ. Loved the afternoon drinks at 6pm, nice canapes and wine, all included in the room rate. Definitely recommended
Cons: Not much
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything is fantastic . The staff are friendly , polite and warm . Service is impeccable. Location is good . Breakfast was delicious . Beds were comfy !
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The staff were very helpful, canapé hour was a lovely touch and the room was beautiful.
Cons: Room temperature and hot water temperature was difficult to accurately control. The balcony would benefit from chairs and a small table.

Pros: The staff is so friendly and the hotel are excellent! I really like their homemade lemon ginger honey tea, thanks for their lovely staff! So fantastic experience!
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stunning views and staff that went the extra mile
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great breakfasts. Great bar. Nice sitting area overlooking the town. Nothing was too much for the hosts to make our stay a success: bookings, advice etc. We had one of the two rooms on the first floor, which have been created out of the attic. It has a view of downtown Queenstown and the lake, and that was its attraction. That said, if we came again we would choose one of the much larger high-ceilinged rooms on the ground floor.
Cons: The last bit of the walk up from downtown is a bit of challenge. The hosts are happy to pick one up, though, and the plentiful taxis are cheap.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Only good service that’s all
Cons: Room and bathroom fairly small despite we book it as described as king suite. Advertise with lake view . Pathetic lake view from afar . No tv . Hv to request for hotel to bring in one . No aircon . For the price we pay it is a rip off
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The team at Hulbert house were absolutely fantastic! Each picked up from where the other left off . Everything was seamless . Indulgent and totally memorable .Home ( luxury) away from home ! Attention to detail was exceptional in every way .Hope to make it back sometime soon !

Pros: Great helpful knowledgeable staff. A few minutes walk from the city. Very clean Fresh clean towels. Lake gondola views .
Cons: Breakfast, we enjoyed the cereals with a chai seed shots
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I broke my wrist skiing while I stayed, the staff were extremely generous and helpful - they made sure I had everything I needed, helped me with my washing, tying up my shoelaces, bringing me tea! The food was fantastic, canapes were delicious and hanging out with the other guests was very fun.
Cons: The bed was firmer than what I'm used to
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The warmest hospitality we have ever received!! The freshly made a-la-carte breakfasts were so delicious and a lot of choices to choose from. Superb lake and mountain view plus modern decor. Very comfortable bed! Highly recommended!!
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were excellent and created a great atmosphere. The breakfasts were wonderful and view fantastic. My wife and I recommend Queenstown House B&B strongly. We will be back.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: So many things! The amazing view from the balcony and breakfast area, the breakfast each morning was amazing (such a great selection!), happy hour each evening sampling NZ wines & hors d'oeuvres, comfortable and cosy room, the electric blanket, complimentary chocolates and cookies, lovely staff etc etc :)
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location. Nice Terrace. Very clean.
Cons: Water mixer of bath tub shower was faulty. You can get either hot or cold water. Very difficult to mix. Wash basin also not having water mixer. Slow internet. Staff available till 7pm only
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely warm room overlooking lake with balcony. Comfortable bed. Tea/Coffee (milk in fridge) and cookies provided daily. Breakfast room had fantastic views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables beyond - difficult to drag yourself away some mornings! Tastefully decorated property with a warmth immediately felt on arrival. Breakfast was delicious with many choices, including homemade muesli, fresh yoghurt and plums. Selection of cooked breakfasts also available including eggs benedict, omelettes, pancakes with maple syrup and bacon (yum!). Sam and her team could not have been better. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel so very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and they helped us to choose which trips to take and booked one for us. One of the highlights of this lovely boutique B & B, is the tasty canapes and glass of wine provided at 5.30 pm each day to enable guests to get together and chat before going into town for an evening meal. Property is centrally located and within easy walking distance of the main town and places to visit. Highly recommend this B & B as a superb place to stay in vibrant Queenstown. Without hesitation we would stay at Queenstown House again and are very grateful to Sam, Paul and team for making our final days of holiday in New Zealand, so enjoyable and memorable.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Room was very warm and clean
Cons: You could hear people talking in the next room
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location was great and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good and catered well for gluten intolerance
Cons: Internet was very poor

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Didn't try the breakfast. Great location
Cons: The view from the Spa
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay here at The Dairy Private Hotel. The location was absolutely excellent. Across the road from the hotel were steps down to the centre of Queenstown so everything was in walking distance. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Loved the bathrobe and the cookies. Amenities were excellent too. Staff member who met us on arrival was very accommodating, provided a tour of the hotel and a glass of champagne on arrival. Loved the common area room also and had some great chats with fellow guests here. Also loved that I can bring in my own food and wine for nights in.
Cons: Every evening after a busy day, we decided to bring a wine back to the hotel and enjoy the common area faciliites. On the first night, the fire was not lit at all so after a cold day, no fire. The second day it was thankfully. As the firewood was never replensihed for the remainder of our stay, we could not enjoy a fire which I really missed (this waas one of the reasons I booked here). I would recommend that this location replenishes firewood daily and lights fire for guests arriving. Also, water was not replensihed in our room dialy.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The location, the staff and the coziness of the place
Cons: The door hinge arms didn’t work so the doors slammed.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Well situated to downtown
Cons: Cost increases between room categories not good value. Better to stay in standard room for best value
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was ideal, and the proprietress seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Furnishings were lovely and interesting, and our one night in Queenstown was delightful.
Cons: The street produced a little traffic noise, but it was not disruptive to our sleep. Breakfast was not included, but we knew that in advance.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Dairy Hotel provided a great experience. Amazing hospitality and yummy breakfast! A home away from home truly lovely.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The Dairy Private Hotel is an excellent facility in a central location. Check-in and out experience by the lovely Missy was very welcoming and warm. Some of the Hotel is a little tired and in need of maintenance, ie our bathroom basin/sink was cracked (the vitreous china) and in need of replacing. There really was nowhere to park our car, so we had to pay for additional parking costs at a local underground carpark. Other than that, I would recommend the Dairy Private Hotel for an enjoyable stay.
Cons: Lack of parking The fire in the central lounge wasn't lit, the Hotel had run out of firewood

Pros: The owners, Adrian and Kelly and their daughter Morgan were so kind and helpful, it was just unbelievable. They really go out of their way to please and are also so personable. Whatever we requested, we got...and more. The location also is a 10+. The price was so fair and reasonable. And their internet help was superb. One great place; well worth the money!
Cons: Nothing at all!

Excellent 9.6
Pros: The view and the distance to the Frankton Arm Lake
Cons: I had no issue with the property.

Excellent 8.8
Pros: The staff is helpful and hospitality. His dog is very.lovely and smart. Living room is well decorated.

Pros: Comfortable easy to find large bathroom. Warm. Friendly staff who where willing to help.
Cons: The window surrounds need cleaning mould growing. The outside needs a good tidy up and some tlc
Good 7.9
Pros: Nice and warm and the tiles were heated extra bonus.
Cons: There was no kitchen area so didn't really like drinking water from the bathroI'm tap.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: check in and out was really easy and the owner i talked to (in quite late notice) let us check out an hour later, room was so funky, just loved it
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The property benefitted from some great views of the lakes and mountains. The room was good, perhaps a bit dated for some peoples taste but the staff/manager were very efficient and friendly.
Cons: Location was, as expected, outside of Queenstown, perhaps a little too far. However the incline to get to the property was a bit of a surprise, I am glad we were dropped off at the door, lugging a heavy suitcase up that hill would have been no fun.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Loved the furniture and views over the lake and mountains. Great bath.
Cons: Finding it was a little tricky
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great villa. And a nice lake view
Cons: The location is bit far away from queenstown
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Pencarrow views are spectacular- it’s a unique property in the area. We found it warm and clean with everything we needed. Ice in the freezer was a nice touch thanks!! Hosts were attentive and respectful of our privacy. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.
Cons: Laundry service would be fantastic.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: View.
Cons: As a guest house there was no staff in attendance. Did not even bother to check to clean the room unless specifically put out the room clean sign. For a luxury room how come there was a massive king size bed but only one comfortable chair to sit on. No replenishment of toiletries was attempted, while dirty towels were removed but none more handed out. Only breakfast offered was a 4 course one, at an exhorbitant rate. Lounge was inhospitable- the fire was never lit while we were there. The address was not well documented nor was it easy to find. The electrical supply was dodgy. The lights on the dimmer would suddenly glow them die down again and the electric blankets were of some Chinese design and did not heat.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This property was clean and very well equipped. Was surprised it even had a washing machine and dryer. Both reception staff members we dealt with were extremely helpful and friendly. The cafe does excellent breakfasts. Again the staff were friendly and efficient.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Good sized room, private, nice view. Shower pressure good, clean facilities. I liked the location, preferred it to staying right in Queenstown.
Cons: The TV didn't seem to have a very clear picture. I wonder if there's plans to go with a more modern approach when it comes to entertainment i.e. apple box, or chrome caster so that people can cast their own devices.

Pros: Room size, breakfast buffet is large selection, newish hotel, staff generally friendly and polite. Quiet location. Fantastic view of lake and mountains altho partially blocked fr our room. Partner enjoyed the steam room.
Cons: Parking fees of 16$/day. No off street free parking avail most of time. Further away off street free parking is about 10mins steep uphill or downhill walk. Shld have offered discounted or free parking for hotel clients. Or include in hotel rates to avoid confusion of parking, hassle free for clients and hotel to manage. Also location of hotel is not ideal if do not have car.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location waterfront straight on the queenstown trails. Great rooms, beds and pillows comfy. Bathroom massive. Amazing service and yummy breakfast. Great facilities.
Cons: Smallest downside is most of rooms don't face the remarkables but Queenstown is scenic. Otherwise there is nothing I don't like about this place.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super comfy bed. Great view. Nice bathroom.
Okay 4.2
Cons: So many things in the room were broken or dirty when I checked in, I had the front desk come look. They said maintenance would fix some of it, and that they would see if another room was available the next day. Neither happened.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit and the kitchen and bathroom were very good. it would have been nice to spend more time in the room as it was very comfortable.
Cons: The accommodation met what was to be expected from a Hilton but it was rather soulless and lacked character. Checking in was confusing because the Doubletree is also on-site. However no fault could be found with the quality of the accommodation once we were in our unit.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Transfers add up and airport two mile drive is $28 NZ
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The rooms are typically Hilton, nice and quiet with beautiful interiors. The staff were helpful and polite. The housecleaning did a great job every day as well.
Cons: The resort is a long way from town,So a hire car is Recommended. In saying that,it is closer to the ski fields and more relaxed.Theres a water taxi which helps if you wish to get to town.Taxis are over $50 one way to town. $5 coffee at breakfast is annoying.(the provided coffee is ordinary) Make sure you get a complimentary breakfast when booking. It is very expensive otherwise, especially for people who don't eat too much for breakfast.
Good 7.4
Pros: Good bed & room but overlooked construction site as well as lake but view was limited. Friendly & efficient staff.
Cons: Decor too dark Wi fi not free in rooms A bit far out of town
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room and quite location.
Cons: Parking.
Okay 4.2
Pros: overall the hotel was nice, its a Hilton. it was spacious and there are things on site like restaurants and a cafe for you. the staff was great, management- not so much.
Cons: location was far from the center of queenstown... a $40 cab ride. you had to reserve the hotel shuttle (which filled up during popular times) or take a $10 water taxi. kind of inconvenient. lastly, we had to leave early due to a family emergency and the management refused the credit us or help in any way.
Good 7.4
Pros: Location but ypu need a free shuttle or a $10 water taxi per person to get to town
Cons: The credit card fee.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: We really loved the helpful staff and the convenient location. The grounds were nice and the room was spacious. We loved the kitchenette and everyone stayed nice and warm.
Cons: The only issue I had was there wasn't any chairs to sit on. There was only a metal bench and the beds. I have lower back problems and the need to have a proper chair is important.
Good 6.7
Pros: The room was spacious and pretty clean, and the environmentally conscious attitude
Cons: No TV, A boot mark stain on the sheets (they had been washed... it was just a stubborn type of stain), old mattresses, loud room fridge and parking wasn't ideal. Other reviews rated the restaurant highly... I never went there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved everything, one of the most awesome places I have ever stayed at.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was amazing , views are incredible and location is excellent! Food is off the chain and the staff are extremely nice !
Cons: Zero negatives
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved absolutely everything! Rated in the top 10 eco friendly hotels in the world. The bed was amazingly soft! And loved the wool curtains and how blackout they were. Staff were so lovely and accommodating, and use of the free sauna was great! Definitely coming back here!
Cons: Unfortunate the projector didn’t work on the wifi in our room. But it’s cool that they have the option for that and tablets as well
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast, friendly staff. Laid back

Pros: Location
Cons: Limited breakfast choice
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everyone at reception and restaurant staff is super friendly. Everyone welcomes you with a big smile. Location of the hotel is very convenient as well (5 minutes drive to the town or airport (it sits in the middle of both). Rooms are super clean and modern with good-sized bathrooms. Beds are super comfy which is very important after a tiring day after all the activities outside. I cannot think of anything bad at all. Full marks on every single front. PS - Breakfast is great value for money and you can enjoy the amazing views while having your first good quality meal of the day.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Facing lake but has to pay for view. Big flat screen TV. Reception is very friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast staff very hardworking and free parking!
Cons: Small room and bathrm. Breakfast range is limited, due to limited customers/rooms. Rooms has been slightly upgraded but Hotel appearance is outdated.looks and feels like staying in a motel. Needs major upgrade. Price is not cheap too for a 3star.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing place great location and very friendlh helpful staff
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Either on the website or on Kayak.com it stated that the hotel shuttle to the airport would be $13 nzd per person. When we got there they told us that they don't offer this service. We only had exactly $26 nzd left. This was our last day so there was no need to have New Zealand currency. I shared this with the hotel staff and to our pleasant surprise, she ordered us a cab to the airport that was $23 NZD fixed price. We were happy we were able to spend the last of our New Zealand currency and not have to waste it on something at the airport. I appreciate the hotel staff being attentive and making sure we were comfortable by all means.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit cramped. I actually hit my tooth on the towel bar as I was trying to sit on the toilet. Luckily I didn't chip my tooth but it did hurt.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Staff were great, nice and clean and new premises. The cookies are a lovely touch!
Cons: It is quite a distance from town however the water taxi made it easy to get to town when we wanted to
Good 7.5
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with lots of options and a good window of service. Bed was super comfortable and staff were friendly. Water taxi facility made getting in to town a breeze.
Cons: Our 'lake view' room was half obscured by the building in front, stains on the carpet were a little gross, pipe from bathroom sink dripped onto the floor.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing, kind and so sweet. The location is a little be far to Cbd but it is in the beautiful spot, in front of the river. We really wish had more time to enjoy while the facilities in there.
Cons: I just miss the tv on the room.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Breakfast room is amazing
Cons: Cars parked on the street affecting window view (room 117)
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
