Beach size and the efforts to clean sargasso
Remodeling, demolition and construction where taking place during the stay. It was noisy and they moved me to another hotel for the last 2 nights of my reservation because the hotel was to close for two months. They simply threw me away to another now hotel and "forgot" to mention all the perks I had already paid in Sapphire. It was the worst of my stays in a now hotel. I got a horrible room in the Now Jade with ants all over the walls and every time I mentioned my room number for a preferred expected service I had to explain at the spa, the reception, restaurants I was a preferred guest Wich they didn't knew because of the type room I got. You should not allow a guest to book a room in dates where hotel is to be closed or under renovations.
The best of all is the restaurant and pool Staff, they are SO nice and always trying to spoil you, and make you feel like home.
I traveled with two seniors, and they offered wheelchair on the booking process, once there they told us that golf carts will be available to transport them instead of the wheelchair. The first days the service was excellent, from day 3 the service was awful, sometimes they had to wait 15 or 20 minutes, and some days the cart never showed. And they had to walk even under the rain. The worst part was to see young people taking carts on the lobby while my family was waiting in our room, I went to talk to someone, and he told me they give priority to drunk people because they could have an accident walking to their room. Since the day I went to talk to them, the cart service was even worse.

I’m shocked at how bad the food was. And the drinks.... No bueno. I’d think all inclusive would have better quality liquor especially in Mexico. Also, the reuse of the in room beer bottles is fine BUT they shouldn’t reuse the bottles that look old and decrepit. Makes you feel like your drinking from something dirty. YUCK!!! And the beach, unfortunately, had the infamous seaweed/ algae problem so the beach getaway turned into the pool getaway. (Not their fault)
