Bed was comfy, air conditioning worked well, useful to have a fridge in the room. Although the room was small it was well laid out. Location is quite good as it's walking distance to the metro or you can just walk straight to many attractions in the old town. As a young person who likes walking this worked for me but it would be less ideal for others, especially if it's very hot.
I told the staff I was attending a festival and would be out at night and asleep in the day and I didn't want to be disturbed. However despite mentioning this on my booking, at check in and leaving the do not disturb sign on my door, I was woken up in the middle of the day by reception calling to ask if I wanted my room cleaned. They also don't provide complimentary water or toiletries and the bathroom was so dark I couldn't see when in the shower.
All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They booked taxis for us and directed us to locations.
The hotel was fab but we were in a smaller room. As we were there for 5 nights and attending a wedding one of the bigger rooms would have been better (We had a fair amount of stuff). We could see some of the rooms were bigger. If just a weekend it would not have been an issue at all.
Unlike many similar modern hotels, the staff here was competent and efficient, but also friendly and personable, both by e-mail and in person. Linara (at reception) was especially appreciated, helping me to navigate my car into a very tight cage-elevator in their building, reminding me to unscrew the car antenna first! Some reviewers complained about high-pressure sales tactics for tours or other activities. I was offered these in passing but politely declined all without any insistence on the staff's part. The location is handy, several decent eateries are within walking distance. Good value for the price.
The room safe deposit box didn't work but I don't usually use them anyway. Some of the remote control buttons (TV or A/C) get stuck, but that's a minor point.
Clean , economical and adequate for our purposes.
Not particularly easy to find and not terriblyclose to main points of interest
Near-central location. Tiny but tidy room. Acceptable breakfast.
