Location (right next to Charles), the huge bed, fair price, even the basic room is equipped. The younger staff members are very pleasant and willing to help with all kinds of stuff. The basic room is perhaps a bit small, but clean in well kept. There are shops and a lot of things to see all over the place.
No AC, but a fan instead at the basic room (a summertime issue). The older staff lady has a bit of temper (We or someone else closed a door leading to our room and another one.. Quote: "DON'T close THAT door!!!". We found the random accusation strange, yet humorous (be advised, and don't make this crucial mistake!). Reminded us of the older generation of Czech postal service when they run out envelopes and bite your head off ("NEMAME!!!"). Perhaps she had a rough day :). A great stay apart from that :)

2 days of cold showers, problems with safe, paint falling of walls, sheets not big enough for bed so during night exposed directly to mattress, leaking gas smell in stairwells and entrance. Getting hot water situation to be rectified took over 24 hrs. Felt sorry for the girl that worked there as she didn't have much back up. When we asked to speak to manager (who was offsite) we were told the manager didn't want to speak to us. Definitely not 4 star probably 2 star. Only positive was the location. The place was run down and needed some maintenance.

Could hear other guests and movement all through the night. Not as quiet as I'd hoped.
