The room was very clean, and the price quite reasonable.
The building is very old, especially when you take a look at the walls and bathroom. The windows are also old and not very easy to manipulate. In the bathroom there were only two big towels, one per each person, with no hand towel. Breakfast was disappointing, you could choose only between eggs, salad, cereal, cheese and a bad looking ham. Also, when we arrived, there were no forks anymore, they were supplied no sooner than 15 mins later. The staff, that others described as very friendly, was just average, not even bothering to look at us when we were returning the key at the end of the stay. Also, nobody picked up the phone when I was calling the reception from the room. I expected that in a 4 star hotel there would at least be a toothpaste and shampoo, but there was only body soap.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, good water pressure, there is a paid parking nearby. Good location for our early flight.
Old room, very bad, uncomfortable mattresses, the bathroom is very small, barely enough room for one person, it has a glass door, you can see through it, not appropriate for a family room.
Although my room was situated next to the lift. it was quiet and no traffic noise. Very kind staff and a delicious breakfast, plenty for my as a vegetarian.
More tea bags, perhaps.
The only positive thing I can tell is the helpful receptionist, Lucas.
TERRIBLE. It's NOT a 4-star hotel. I've been lot of times in other 4-star hotels but this one isn't even a 1-star hotel. - The elevator barely fit me and my baby with our baby stroller. My husband had to wait and call the elevator again. INSANE. And make sure that nobody takes his arm or leg extended as there is no inside safety door. - Damaged and very very cheap furniture. - All rooms had camp beds. On double rooms the camp beds were packed in a corner and on the triple room, the third bed was actually this camp bed and not a proper bed as was illustrated on booking.com images. in one of the 3 rooms we booked, we noticed that the camp bed had brown marks like someone actually spilled some coffee (hopefully...) on this camp bed mattress. A person 170cm tall barely fits on this camp bed. - A very dated toilet basin that looked awkward. - Dirty and not ironed towels. That's was the moment we decided that we had enough and we decided that the next day in the morning we should start looking for a proper hotel. We couldn’t even take a bath and especially our baby. It’s a disgrace not for a 4-star hotel, even for the cheapest hotel or apartment. This is a VERY VERY serious issue. - The refrigerator that was next to the bed was so noisy that we had to unplug it. - No mineral water available! Only sparkling water or flavored water! How is this even possible for a 4-star hotel? - Breakfast… A very small area with no ventilation smelling egg that was so crowded that there were people having their coffee on the stairs. - Lack of basic hygiene set that includes a bath shampoo, shower gel, and a hair conditioner. - One of the bedsheets had a hole! When we arrived and saw the hotel, we immediately asked to get a refund and go to another hotel but they refused. Eventually, we booked a proper 4-star hotel the next day as we couldn't stay there anymore to their DISGUSTING Hotel.
