Hotel Inos

The staff at the reception in the hotel is very pleasant and helpful. Although I found a different person at the reception every day during my five-day visit, they always greeted me with a smile and a 'Hi'. Expect to be briefed about the essentials, details about the neighborhood (like the ATM just round the corner) and the transport options in Prague (you can even buy transport tickets at the hotel). The best advantage of Hotel Inos is its location. You are only a two-minute walk away from the Vltava river bank, bus stop and the tram station. A ten-minute walk will get you to the Prague Congress Centre (if you are attending a conference) and a five-minute walk to Vysehrad (probably the best scenic view-points to visit in Prague). Taking a tram from the Podolska vodarna will take you to the Wenceslas Square or the Charles Bridge in 10-15 minutes. The Prague airport is about 45 minutes by car and the hotel provides arranging for a taxi for both pick-up and drop-off (paid service). You can even change currency (USD, GBP & EUR) at the reception at a fairly good rate. Else if you have an international card, use the ATM nearby (remember to choose 'without conversion' as the option while withdrawing cash). Quite a few options to eat out are available around the hotel. Even several vegetarian/non-vegetarian dishes from the Indian subcontinent can be found at the 'Chilli Pizzeria', a nice little place run by a pleasant gentleman from Pakistan, two-minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms at Hotel Inos are well maintained and comfortable with ample space. In the room you will be provided with a writing desk and chair, television, a few plates, cutlery and glasses. A spacious closet with a small safe and hangers is also present. However, you can borrow an iron from the reception if you need to iron your clothes. The hotel provides laundry facility as well.

The rooms would be better if equipped with air-conditioning (specially needed during hot days), a refrigerator and a kettle to prepare some coffee. The electrical outlets consist of 'Type C' sockets if you want to use any electrical equipment (like mobile chargers or laptops). You can probably borrow an adapter from the reception (I had my own).

The balcony of our room was very nice - the room was spacious.

There was ground coffee in the bedroom but no coffee filter or plunger in which to make the coffee,.
