Bed & pillows very comfy. Breakfast was good. Great location. Staff very helpful.
An old building, rescued and modernised.
Price very high for Porto. Not a 4 star hotel. Location fantastic. Could walk everywhere. Very clean hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly.
For very high price, breakfast not included. Breakfast room boring. Bathroom looked new but no place to put towel by the shower. Coming out you are naked in the room. We all needed some privacy. No door on bathroom. Lobby not inviting.
The location was so close to everything. The concierge gave me detail info about sightseeing and tips about visiting.
We had to leave early and they didn’t let me go start my breakfast until 7am. Was there at 645 and they had many food plates ready and coffee but wouldn’t let me start till 7. Rushed breakfast in 15 minutes to get catch a plane.
Location was central, close to many sights we wanted to see, and an easy walk down to the Douro at Ribeiro. Bedrooms were spacious, and bathrooms well-equipped (ours was a shower rather than a bath). The reception staff were friendly and professional, and helpful not only with maps, but also in getting hold of feather pillows to replace the usual impossibly uncomfortable rubber ones that all four star hotels (except Marriott) inflict on their customers. The beds themselves were comfortable, and the room's soundproofing worked well. It needed to, as our room looked out on to a busy street. One staff member, Thiago Duarte, is worthy of mention, thanks to the diplomatic way he dealt with a complaint about building noise from an adjacent building (nothing to do with the hotel, and outside their control). Our room was kept superbly clean. .
No fault to find, save for the poor quality of the original pillows. Goose down pillows should be mandatory in 4* and 5* hotels !
The Eurostars Porto Centro 4* allows you the chance to get to know the beautiful city of Porto from its historical centre, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This excellent location will complete a luxurious stay while you enjoy the best facilities like the bar-café, room service or the beautiful landscaped area. Likewise, the large and bright rooms of the Eurostars Porto Centro 4* which are decorated in earth tones will add to your stay the comfort and rest that you are looking for, as they include air conditioning and heating, LCD TV, desk, minibar and toiletries, among other amenities.
