Shower ran out of hot water. There was no plug for bath tub.
They gave us a refund
Transients and tweekers around hotel. One of them demanded to get in our room and we had to call police
Good charging station by the bed. TV was HD and in the correct aspect ratio. Nice refrigerator. Good location. Good use of space.
I stayed in Room 217. There was a blood stain on the comforter. There were two blood spots on one of the pillow cases. I chose to sleep in the floor (thankfully I had a pad & sleeping bag, because I was coming back from a camping trip). The batteries in the TV remote were corroded and needed to be replaced. The floor shook whenever someone came up the stairs. There was a fair bit of road and other outside noise. There were small stains on the walls. Virtually everything metal in the room was rusted. They couldn't find my reservation, so I booked directly through them and then they charged me for the reservation they couldn't find anyway (I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company). The room was marked non-smoking, but that was clearly not true as it reeked of cigarette smoke. The room was quite dark. The garbage wasn't emptied, and there was a goldfish cracker sitting on one of the chairs. There were linens sitting on the ground outside when I arrived. Maybe my standards are changing, but I feel like I have stayed in cheap hotels/motels recently and been just fine, but this one was just gross and uncomfortable. I will not stay here again.
I like the clezn showers and clran bathroom.
SO close to Dowtown. Walk over the bridge in 10 minutes, or hop on the tram across the street, much cheaper then staying in a downtown hotel, Plus you get the view going over the bridge. Also McDonald's and Walgreens 2 blocks away.
Room lighting was inadequate for the dark room palette (if you care about that). Some road noise during the day.
