Decor was perfect for a beach house! Very artistic. Loved the patio and doors that let the ocean air and sounds in. The view was amazing. Everything looked new. Fresh flowers in a vase, I felt so comfortable in this house. We would stay here again.
The neighbors at the end. They had a continuous garage sale going on. Property was disappointing from front but blew us away when we entered and saw a different world. Beautiful.
Big rooms with good storage options, one bathroom per room, comfortable beds, good breakfast for free, towels and locks free to rent, cheap parking option, very nice location
Affordable place with nice cafe downstairs.
The rooms were very hot, seems like their wasn’t air conditioning in the rooms at all. It was really difficult to find parking in the neighborhood and you have to pay for metered parking during the day or rent a parking pass. They also advised me to bring in everything from my car since there have been a lot of car break-ins in the area, so I was pretty nervous with all of my camping gear in there which would be impossible to bring into a hostel. The staff was pretty uptight and not very friendly. They seemed exasperated with their jobs, which is understandable, but it came off as rude. Most hostels have more of a laidback, backpacker feeling so I guess I was expecting a more welcoming vibe. Loved the violinists playing in the cafe when I arrived though!
Common space, helpful staff, it was pretty clean, neighbourhood is cool and a good walking distance to a lot of attractions. Cafe was nice. I appreciated that there were organized events like the walking tour, music nights.
Boring breakfast; limited space in the 4-bed dorm that i stayed in. Window in the dorm room opened only slightly - no AC so the room got quite warm.
Garden, kitchen, towels, room, cafe were cool
No air conditioner, mattress covers are really bad.
