Located near nice rice terraces, food from the farm, very kind and nice staff
Music at the restaurant for diner is not our kind (would have preferred more local or chill music)
Staff were super friendly and helpful, always smiling. Food was great, all organic and home grown produce.
Terrible road to get to the property.
Breakfast was outstanding and the staff took such good care of us. We love the fireplace and the view from the bedroom. Bed was also so comfy. The only issue was the road to the property. Was a little rocky but nothing that would have stopped us from booking. I also believe they are building a new bridge that will make the experience of traveling there easier. I loved heading out for the day and returning to this little oasis. Food is also excellent at the restaurant.
I would have liked it if the sauna and steam room came free with a stay. Massage was very average. The massage booked should have included hot oil however she used it cold until I said something. She had mentioned that she was very busy that day so she could have been tired however I would have preferred if they had just booked me in for another day when she was feeling a little more refreshed.
It was the perfect getaway from the hustle of the tourist areas in town. Swimming in the local river was a highlight and the hike to the peace pagoda. The food was excellent, local and international, and the staff super attentive.
The only downside is the road leading up to the property. It’s very rocky, fine if you are prepared and in a 4 wheel drive but would not recommend taking a local taxi.
The view from our room was amazing with paddy fields and mountains around. We enjoyed the hotel surroundings and the food, the staff very friendly and helped us to move around in Pokhara. The bottle of milk at the doorstep every morning was a real surprise.
