The food was delicious and there was a wide choice of food. I am lactose intolerance so I would have appreciated more dairy free meals but it was nice to see the labels with the allergens on every food. The pool was nice and also the beach in front of the hotel. The personnel was very helpful and kind. Fast check-in and check-out. Also, they let us keep our resort bracelets even after checking out so that we could have access to the cafeteria and eat while waiting for our shuttle to the airport. The rooms were cleaned impeccably. I recommend this resort and I would totally go back.
Overall the experience was positive but I didn't sleep well at all because the pillows were incredibly hard (even though I found out that in most resorts in the area pillows are like that). In the room there are no extra blankets, and even if it is hot outside it gets really cold with the AC on, but if you turn it off the whole room gets humid. So I would have appreciated an extra blanket. The night shows go on until late and the music is unnecessarily loud, it makes it impossible to fall asleep.
Location and service was excellent
Alcohol and food has room for improvement
Very humid and no AC or ceiling fans in lobby area, AC in room didn’t ever dry anything, everything felt damp and moist. Lots of areas with a few steps but no handrails. Don’t take a room close to pool unless you want to hear same entertainment as it will keep you awake till at least 11 PM every night. Handrail at pool steps gets so hot, needs a foam cover. Only a very few staff can speak English or they claim they don’t understand if you have trouble. We’ve been many other places in Mexico that realize tourism is a big portion of their economy and treat you like they truly care you have chosen their resort. Not here by a long shot! Suggest you not book here! Especially if you are over 50!
Overall the structure is very old and the common area are without AC. In 2019 it’s unacceptable!!
