Clean and really nice room with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. The balcony was a great touch and made you forget all the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. The pool was really nice for relaxing after a long and emotional day.
Aircon in our room was placed far from the bed, making it less efficient. Also kind of impractical that the toilet did not have full walls.
The staff were SO lovely and the atmosphere matched. Pool area was very nice to hang out in. Great recycling of plastic bottles to make decorative planters.
Not as “eco” as they could be: Plastic wrapped, plastic toothbrushes (bamboo would be better). Individually plastic wrapped butter packets (use bulk and serve on plate) Individually plastic wrapped toilet paper Fresh towels and sheets don’t need to be given daily
The pool was great, a lovely spot for having some food and drinks at the bar as well. Room was comfortable, we were a bit warm with the duvet so a sheet would have been nice but otherwise it was fab. Shower pressure was a bit weak as well. Staff were very helpful and the location was good but there was noisy construction work going on next door which was annoying but obviously couldn’t be helped.
Nice pool. Big clean rooms.
We visited the hotel for 3 nights. Even if our room was next to the lobby the wifi was not available unless you were actually at the lobby. No wifi in the rooms which was actually very inconvenient. Also, we noticed an increased number of rats in the area and in the hotel. We sat down for dinner one evening at the hotel and they were 2 rats around us. We mentioned it to the staff that this is disturbing and they said they can't do anything about it.
As the rate was USD20+ per night when I booked, almost 30% cheaper than the other hotel which I used to stay, I had very little expectation on this hotel... it.. was... AMAZING! I was impressed with the cleanliness, the design of the room and the surrounding of the hotel - not doggy at all and surrounded by good restaurants and mini-market. Don’t be fooled by the low price...: it is absolutely value for money and will exceed your expectation. Fantastic stay.
The shower pressure was a bit low and hot water takes some time to heat up.
