Our room was beautiful with its own small breakfast area. The ambiance in the property was lovely. Staff members were helpful and had practical ideas. The decor is vintage but appealed to us. Especially suitable for couples but maybe not for small children.
We were on the third floor and because this is an old style period property there is no elevator. We found it difficult to bring our luggage up and down steep stairs. Also the property comprises two adjoining houses. We had to exit one to enter the other. I would recommend requesting a room in the main property with breakfast area etc. Dining is communal .
It's really nice B&B, good location, very clean, very helpful receptionist, nice room, and even I had to share the bathroom with one more room, it looked and felt like you are having your privat bathroom. By the way the breakfast was also very good.
Nothing to complain about
The man who served breakfast and cooked was great. He took time to talk to people and cooked the best grits I ever had.
My air mattress was very uncomfortable and the window sills were dusty and the bathroom had splattered toothpaste all over the backsplash tile. The cleaning crew could pay better attention to details.
Wonderful warm hospitality, old style furnishings and a grand piano, but great linen, towels etc in bedrooms!
We shared a bathroom but it wasn't a problem
Breakfast was faithfully served family style with fresh backed scones and more. Was great to mix at the table with fellow travelers from around the world. The location was beautiful and quiet, and I had all the comforts of home.
It was not cheap but a bargain compared to local area hotels during height of conference season.
