Builders on the floor above banging and drilling at 8am every morning. Also they were smoking in the fire escape making the rooms toilet smell. Staff did however move us to a lower floor.
Excellet swiming pool. Nice room with vieuw at the top of eiffel (room 606)
Well I did like and I did enjoy being kicked out of my room after 2 nights but I have booked that hotel for 4 nights. After 2 nights there in the morning they reception called my asking they are you gonna leave because you have booked this room for two nights. So be prepare for that they will want you out before your stay ends.
They will take 50Euro per night per person as 'city tax' I have stayed in lots of hotels around Paris and France and They never take 50Euro as 'city tax' and when I asked what is that and what is it for because I was intrested and I wanted to know that for future the lady said ' because'.
The hotel staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to help us out our rooms were cleaned every day spectacularly. There is parking at this hotel and it is close to some great little restaurants that were amazing. The hotel bar had amazing staff members who were funny and really made the trip for my in laws. Also the drinks were reasonably priced as was room service. The pool was wonderful the temperature was kept just right and it was a clean relaxing place to take the kids after a long day of walking.
The family room was a little small. I realized my last day that you can move the furniture pretty easy but I didn't realize I could do that the majority of my trip and felt cramped. Also there are only showers/no baths for a family room which was really hard with a toddler. My two year old slipped ans fell the second day. She wasn't hurt but it was inconvenient. The bathrooms don't have very much privacy which is ok for a couple, but not so great for brother/sister or friend stays in the same room. The outlets are across the room from the bed. So make sure to pack long cables. We had to ask for an extension cord for the CPAP machine I'm our room the front desk did have these and we're super helpful about it. It was a queen bed in our room but it was turned sideways so my husband's feet actually hung off the side of the bed. There was no coffee maker in my room and as a mom who was exhausted this did make me really sad
