The staff and location was excellent! 24h reception is always a plus. LOVED that the water was for free!! Breakfast was good, calm and quiet area and close to subway. :)
The place was old with very thin walls, you could hear your “neighbor” very clear. Felt like we spend a lot of money on a very old room, the carpet on the floor made the room feel a bit dirty. Also the handle to the bathroom kept felling apart.
the hotel was under complete construction which made it very difficult to stay - this was note mentioned when we made the reservation. since we are regular customers this should have been mentioned in the site. we hope that our next stay would be perfect
not being told about the construction being done in our hall. open ceilings. hammers and pounding, workers voices at 9am. sharing elevator with workers and work materials. A room that should not have been given to a guest- no heat, mould in tub, filthy grout. eating
Carpets filthy, walls need paint. Understand age of facility, but no excuse for lack of care. Mismatched bulbs, electric sockets would hot hold electrical items. Too hot. Bed was small, but clean and comfortable
The location- is close to the louvre, cafes, Starbucks and the hop on hop off bus.
- it’s under renovation so there is a lot of noise, the maids also don’t close doors softly there was a lot of slamming doors. - the elevator broke on us twice while we were inside. - I had asked before we stayed to have an accessible room, instead upon check in we were given a room as far from the elevator as possible and down stairs.. which was unacceptable for us as my 88yr old grandmother cannot handle stairs. We were moved to a different room the second night because I said something which was good of the staff to do. - the beds were sooooo uncomfortable, I slept on the floor one night just because my back aches soo much from the bed. I honestly contemplated trying to get a refund from booking and going somewhere else for the remainder of our stay. - my nan left a nightgown in the first room we were at but staff were unable to properly look for it and upon asking them if it got mixed up in the sheets when they cleaned the room for the next person they told me that they didn’t change the bedding for the next guests! - I was charged on checkout taxes to the card I supplied upon check-in, even though I wanted to pay in a different method. Also when paying for the airport shuttle they made me pay a deposit in cash (which is a bit dodgy, they would not accept card). - the hotel does not have an atm as stated on their page. The hotel is very run down and I would not even pay $20 to ever stay here again!
