Hotel was well situated for metro and Le Marais area where lots of restaurants and shops which are open on Sundays; good location to stay in Paris for a weekend city break

There was a cute little balcony in my room which was nice to be able to see out onto the busy street below. I enjoyed the location very much, very convenient! Lots of shops, etc. in a bustling neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I was really disappointed by this hotel. The major issue was the cleanliness - it was pretty dirty, the carpet was very stained - I felt grossed out by the room. This is in part because it's an old building, etc - however, even so, it should have been cleaner. You could tell only the basic areas were cleaned by the housekeeping staff. The sheets were clean, the bedspread could use replacing. The room was cute, sufficient to suit the needs of a traveler who is not picky & doesn't care about cleanliness.
