The location was excellent, very convenient to visit the city and with many convenient stores in the surroundings.
Overall, the proper quality and room cleaning were really poor. I would expect a better-cleaned room given the price paid.
The room was okay, the bathroom was spacious! The staff were all very accommodating. The location was safe and was accessible. It was also close to attractions and restaurants.
Its position is great, almost next door to Marie Curie's house with easy access to both main airports via the metro. The staff are very helpful and always available (24/7). There is a lift to all rooms but one which I think, as its the only one on the top floor, is for special occasions. The rooms are very warm, in fact even though it was February, we needed to turn the radiator off at night to be able to get to sleep. The shower was roomy, the water hot and the wifi really did extend to our room on the 4th floor. So all round exactly what they said it was. As to eating and drinking, there is a great little French restaurant (Le Coup de Torchon) just around the corner which had 3 course dinner for 15.90 Euro including water, wine on top. The same road as this restaurant also had other interesting venues including a Tibetan restaurant, Vietnamese restaurant and several others. Also down the same road is a bar called Wide Open Spaces (WOS) which during happy hour sold large beers at 4 euros the cheapest we had during our stay.
Sadly as the room was so warm we could have done with the windows opening, but they appear to be sealed shut. The decor is a bit tired but I suspect they will sort that out as it has been mentioned in other reviews.
First I liked the location of the hotel. The most sights are situated within walking distance. Next there are nice cafes with tasty coffee and fresh baking. The most surprising thing is a great amount of bookshops where it can be bought rare old examples. The whole word about the hospitable, responsive staff.
