1)The room and bathroom were spacious 2) The beds were very comfortable 3) The location was very good; close to Gare de Lyon and the Bastille metro stops, lots of restaurants within 10 mins walking and there is a Carrefour at the end of the street 4) Most of the staff were extremely helpful and polite
1) No fridge in the room 2) There is only one small lift, that can barely squeeze in 2 people 3) One of our towels had bird droppings on it 4) They didn’t provide any shampoo (just the shower gel in the pump they installed on the wall) and when the soap bar was a sliver, they didn’t replace it. 5) One of the receptionists (he didn’t wear a name tag) who worked the night shift was rude and impolite beyond belief. Whenever we asked for directions, or even a bar of soap (he told me to just use the shower gel) - he seemed to loathe the very thought of having to deal with the situation/us. Even when I went down to the lobby at 11:30pm, he told me that guests aren’t allowed to stay in the lobby. Truly ruined our experience at an otherwise very cosy and pleasant hotel
Perfect room for two, very clean and close to everything! Reception open until late so it was easy getting there from the airport.
The staff were very friendly.
I gave value for money a low score because I think there are no hotels in Paris that give value for money - but, that said, this hotel came as close as it could.
Reception.... Not friendly at all.... Do not wanted to speak English.... The lift... Why do they have a lift??? If you oversized, do not fit in....
Very helpful staff who spoke English (my French is a rather poor) and looked after us. You have ICE! Very helpful because I am diabetic and need to keep my insulin cool. Great Thai restaurant down the road.
Breakfast was Just carbohydrates - would be nice to have some protein - Ham or bacon perhaps.
