Location perfect for a visit to Atelier des Lumieres. Pleasant park immediately opposite, so plenty of shade from tall plane trees and this gave a really calm feeling rather than frantic city buzz. On 2nd floor so we had a mini balcony of our own that was a lovely place to sit. Good bedroom, enough space, enough sockets for recharging phones, air cooling system working, good decoration. Lovely breakfast. Plenty of choice; loved the tarte aux fraises.
Breakfast room doubled as a lounge area so the chairs and tables were low for eating at which felt awkward.
It was relatively clean-fresh towels and bed sheets
1. Terrible staff - very rude. 2. My cash was stolen from the room. Management did nothing. 3. There were some bed bugs. 4. Hotel is over rated - not good value 5. Poor breakfast quality and quantity. 6. Elevator does not operate at all floors. You have to cart your bags on the steps, 7. Staff does not let you use the elevator if they are using it for servicing which is usually most of the day. 8. Will never stay here again.
Quiet and comfortable.
It was much further away from the train than I expected or wanted. I spent half of my only evening there trying to navigate the trains and missed out on a lot.

Everything was fine
The staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean.
They definitely need to change their slogan "your charming hotel in Paris". There was very little that was "charming" about it. The color of the room was horrid - I felt like I was sleeping in a tin of bad pea soup. The bathroom is narrow, and the full length mirror is on the inside of the bathroom door - difficult to use. It would be more useful if it was in the room itself. The hallways were very dark. We ate breakfast on 3 mornings, and each morning, it was difficult to find a clean place to sit -numerous tables were cluttered with the remains of the previous patrons; clean-up was very slow. And I pity anyone taller than me (I am 5'2") as the chairs are very low to the ground - fine for me, but difficult for those with long legs. The furniture in the breakfast area is black and a long way from "charming". I was very disappointed in the decor compared to comparable places I have stayed in Paris. If this doesn't matter to you, then this hotel is ok.
Our hotel is facing a typical parisian park on the east of Paris. The hotel has a sight on this park of 1.5 hectare and is very quiet. This two stars hotel is newly renovated with its 42 rooms, all with shower, toilet, television and telephone. Laundry, Bakery, Supermarkets, Swimming Pool (10 minutes walk from the hotel and 2 euros per person) and Internet cafe nearbyThe Hotel Garden is located between Republique and Bastille Squares(they are five minutes walk each ) and also Notre Dame and Champs Elysees are few minutes by direct metro line.
