The hotel was just in kind of rough shape. There was even a hole in the shower ceiling

Pros (+) Nothing at all
Cons (-) The staff is disrespectful. The rooms are old and dirty. When I arrived to the hotel they told me they had already sold my room to someone else. The only room they could give me was not at all the same quality I paid for. The room itself was dirty and old. The free breakfast consisted of bread and coffee. Worst hotel experience of my life.

Pros (+) On the beach, view of the beach from the room. Staff was friendly and helpful-- it's not their fault the place is falling apart.
Cons (-) We found bedbugs in the room. While the staff was kind and helpful, the infrastructure of this hotel is falling apart and it's filthy. Their equipment to "cook" the bedbugs didn't even work and there were definitely several other rooms with infestations. We received a full refund but I cannot recommend them because they obviously have an infestation but are not closing down and properly addressing...

Pros (+) Staff was AMAZING & rooms were as clean as could be considering the circumstances. Air conditioning units were leaking all over the place...there was a deep down mildew smell in the hallways at night but every morning I smelled bleach as the staff cleaned & cleaned as best they could. Continental breakfast was great & I loved the staff!!
Cons (-) Air conditioning units from upper floors were leaking & left a gross, slippery, dark slimy film all over the 1st floor walkway that tripped my 3 & 10 year olds several times & there was an obvious mildew buildup all the way up the other floors banisters. They were black up & down from lack of maintenance. They have allowed the weeds to grow up so far on the 1st floor U can't even see the ocean.
