Pai Treehouse Resort

The water was very hot. The staff was nice. They have a really nice dog. The property (not the rooms) was nice.

First room we got was okay. Definitely didn’t live up to the photos online. But in the morning the hotel lets in (charges) tour buses to come around and tour the grounds. So we woke up to dozens of tourists on our porch of our villa taking photos.. looking in the windows etc. Totally ridiculous. So many people I could barely get up the stairs to breakfast. I counted 8 tour buses. We were looking for a quiet country retreat.. that was destroyed. They moved our room at our request. The second room had moldy sheets and an ant problem and was super dingy. The breakfast included was really bad. Worst food we have had in Thailand. Instant juice and instant coffee. Hot dogs chopped up in the fried rice. White toast, margarine, and pressed lunch meat. For 70$ a night; which is quite a bit in Thailand, they need to really up their game. Very disappointing property. We weren’t expected four star but this was ridiculous.

Beautiful property with great landscapes art and sculptures around it.

Low ceiling in our room, couldn’t connect to WiFi in our room, shower head broken so water sprayed everywhere, a bit far from town, and nightlife.

The property was quirky. We were expecting a treehouse and that’s what we got

For backpackers to get up into the treehouse is extremely difficult with heavy bags!
