6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful location. Free parking.
Cons: Kitchen shut between 4.30 and 8.30 pm so no food of any kind available during this time. No snacks with any drinks from the bar No box of tissues in bathroom Lift very temperamental
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good and restaurant and staff excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome despite being early, friendly staff, very comfortable room, good dinner.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights, early/mid-week. The food here is excellent and very reasonable compared to UK prices. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially our waiter in the evening - giving guidance on wine, the menu and local knowledge. The bed was very comfortable and the shower water pressure was strong. The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes drive outside Oviedo in a peaceful country setting.
Cons: The venue has a spa - but no gym facilities, and no tea/coffee machine in the rooms - which I would have expected in a 5 star hotel. On the last night there was a lot of noise downstairs about midnight which kept us awake for about an hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 5* all the way .... what a fantastic hotel ... staff brilliant
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A lovely hotel which is mainly a wedding and events venue.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing property, location, architecture, facilities, everything. Value for money has been the best we’ve had so far on our holidays and the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.
Cons: The realisation that we will probably never return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything and everyone! The Reception and restaurant staff were so welcoming and helpful. The bed and bedding and pillows were the best. Like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. Dinner was excellent and the service was lovely
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: It is located in a nice setting away from everything in the middle of lush green and the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful.
Cons: This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but the room has seen a better day. there were stains in the carpet, stains on the sofa and the bathroom door had chipped paint. It all leaves a feeling that the place needs some caring. The bed was a bit too soft and I think it also needs an update on that. Then breakfast was a total disappointment: there were a lot of baked goods but they did not look fresh (it was a Monday and I think the hotel was pretty empty - so the breads and cakes might not have been delivered that day), the fruits also looked old (the pineapple even had dark yellow marks). There was good yogurt and made to order eggs any style you wanted and that was a positive thing about the breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the staff were all very helpful, we couldn't fault it.

6.5 Good
Pros: the decirsyion of hotel and the rooms
Cons: The smell in the room; previous guests had been smoking in th room. We complained about this but the staff didn’t put us in another room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is ok, not within the center or the touristic part of town, but within 15 minutes of a nice walk. Considering the weather in the city is not too warm, its not bad too walk around a bit!
Cons: I really liked the hotel, nothing negative to mention.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is nice
Cons: The housekeeper did not clean the rooms very well, dis not change the towels every day.
7.9 Good
Pros: A truly different and unique building in the heart of Oviedo. We were upgraded to a bigger room which had tons of room and great views across to the hills. Very comfortable bed and friendly maids.
Cons: Despite being out of the centre of town the car park was located under the building. The shopping centre attached had completely closed down meaning 2 whole floors in the car park were deserted. However the hotel still changed an extra €19 on top of the room rate, this is more than I have paid for parking anywhere. At breakfast the staff seemed a bit hassled and lots of people were waiting as things were being restocked.
6.7 Good
Pros: Rooms are spacious with large windows.
Cons: The hotel in general is due for a renovation upgrade! Beds are not comfortable.

Pros: Location
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful old historical building. Very interesting both from inside and outside

Pros: Comfortable v rooms, lovely staff, good food
Cons: We paid separately to use the pool. However there is no water available, other than what you take in. And if you want to pop out for lunch (or water) you have to pay to re -enter. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very polite staff, the location is superb, everything within walking distance.
Cons: The beds were very very soft, because of this was not able to sleep. We had a room at the street side, a lot of noise during early hours. Think they were collecting garbage and you could hear everything despite the windows were closed. The room was very warm and the airco did not cool properly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room, parking available close by
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was rather big.
Cons: The hotel has no services: no breakfast room, no parking, no common areas. Agreements with closeby bars and parking lots are not good deals at all. So why paying so much for a room?
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great close to old town. Plenty of restaurants around. Our room was clean, modern and spacious.
Cons: The pedestrian street under the window can be noisy during the day, though we had no issues during the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast at neighbouring cafe
Cons: I didn’t like the top floor room which had only windows facing the sky
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, flexibility, cleanliness, room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, within walking distance to the Old Town and several other bars, restaurants, and shops. Parking was convenient and affordable, only a few minutes walk from the hotel (located underneath the mall/El Corte Ingles) and we were able to take our car in and out of the garage anytime we needed to without having to pay each time (we paid at the end of our stay with the hotel @10 euro a day). Staff was friendly. Bed was surprisingly quite comfortable. We had a nice view of the church across the street as well.
Cons: Rooms were perhaps a bit dated, but still pleasant for our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location Breakfast. Good value for money. 1 breakfast serve perfectly 2 people
Cons: Rooms too small. Very hot.
5.7 Okay
Cons: breakfast was too late, only at 8am on sunday
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice modern design, friendly staff, proximity to city center
5.7 Okay
Pros: Nice, stylish, friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately, incredibly hard to find. You park in a separate location near the hotel. The layout of streets and signage in Oviedo is very poor and confusing. Hotel should try to highlight that for international travelers who might not be accustomed to old Euro cities.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcoming, simpathy and professional personnel. Excelent location. Great value in terms of accomodation. Garage facility at-hand.
7.0 Good
Pros: The woman receptionist was very cheerful , friendly and hard working. We boked for the wall paper...and liked it in reality! Good variety of food in breakfast buffet, good it was available until 12
7.4 Good
Pros: Well located for items listed above
Cons:
7.4 Good
Pros: A very conveniently-located hotel, close to the bus station, restaurants and shopping areas, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Good value.
Cons:
6.8 Good
Pros: Design, very close to city center and various wine bars, close to train station.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: The location, right in the heart of Oviedo yet within a minutes' walk of the bus and railway stations, and surrounded by useful shops, cafes, bars and restaurants; efficiency, friendliness and local knowledge of staff; ease of check-in and -out; whilst part of a chain, it feels individual enough. Relaxed and informal breakfast experience with a balanced variety of items on offer.
Cons: I don't mind the post-modern decor, but the carpet needs changing (certainly on floor 3) and possibly a revision of style. Storage in the room not great: cumbersome, rickety wardrobe that kept catching my fingers between the doors and the drawers. An armchair in the room would be appreciated. But on balance I think we'd go back to the 'Marcos'
5.2 Okay
Pros: The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast was very good. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel was near the station (nice walking distance) and the main streets.
Cons: The beds were not very soft. The wall paper of the room was a little too vivid for relaxing.

7.9 Good
Pros: Clean and modern room with sufficient space. Small kitchen incl. fridge to prepare and store food if wanted
Cons: Noises from the corridor could be easily heard in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The guy at the reception was very helpful and kind, helped us with several informations and always with a smile. The room was nice and big and very comfortable. Everything was like I've expected.
Cons: The only thing that was not so good was that you can hear the cars passing by at the road in front. Not very loud that you can't sleep or anything but I'm not used to it.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good with a variety of choices, buffet style but if you need your eggs in another style there is someone to do it. They were very nice, helpful and accommodating to one's needs. They have an outdoor patio and a small bar. The area is within a suburb like neighborhood and it helps to relax. I enjoyed that. To dine out of the hotel you have to go into the town but you can walk or drive.
Cons: It probably needs updating but it si so clean and well taken care of that it makes it quaint.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice cosy rooms and bathrooms, styles building, good location
Cons: The rooms have not got good sound isolation, we can hear everything from the reception and the aisle. In a 4 star hotel it is not acceptable for me. Beds are too soft

Pros: Excellent boutique-class hotel with modern facilities in the room. Wifi speed was superb. Very good breakfast. Helpful and nice staff. Quiet surroundings. Good value for money.
Cons: Location is a bit special - it's not far from the train/bus station, but to the opposite side from the city center. However, it's on the same street leading to the old IX century churches.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and linens. Great bathroom. A good location, but not great.
Cons: There wasn't a place to lounge other than breakfast area. Room was a little small

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good location for sightseeing.
Cons: The Spanish in Oviedo apparently do not sleep. There was much noise on the street virtually every night. If you ya light sleeper, another place may be a better alternative.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Parking was available 5 min walk away (we were able to drop our luggage first). Very clean and comfortable room. THe stuff was nice and helpful too. Will stay again
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was great. Staff very friendly. Parking is close by and is only 8€ for 24h. Beds are quite comfortable. The room was recently renewed. No breakfast but directly in the city center with lots of cafes and great options.
Cons: Bathroom especially the shower was quite old and full with limescale and mould. I was taking a shower while wearing flip flops.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The single staff at reception was great. Gave us fantastic tips about good cafes, places to visit, and even practical stuff like where to get travel adaptors and laundry done.
Cons: The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a good bathroom. However, the windows opened directly onto the streets and it was very busy. When you closed all the windows, The sound was mostly blocked out, but then the room was too stuffy with no air-conditioning. When open, there were loud vehicles through the night which kept waking us up.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, very clean, modern
Cons: Paper thin walls, could hear conversations in next room and beyond. Also woke up to revellers coming back to hotel at 4am. Not a full service hotel, receptionist only there for a few hours a day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Desk is covered over a limited time
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Right on the centre of oviedo. The room was on the attic, so the ceiling had an angle, but as it was just in a part of the room it really didn't bother me much although i'm 1.90m high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. It was in close proximity to the old town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A great family room with 2 separate sleeping areas, so we had plenty of space for us all on our overnight stop in Oviedo. The concierge was very friendly and gave us great tips of where to go, which was invaluable for our short visit. Went to Terra Astur restaurant he recommended and it was excellent.
Cons: Bathroom a bit on small side, but more than adequate for our needs. There is some road noise, but only what you expect in a city and great to be able to walk to historic areas/restaurants etc. Just take ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper! Couldn’t find recommended car park, but found another underground one nearby and ok price.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location

Pros: Amazing service, the hotel owners went out of their way to be helpful, courteous and engaging. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. Amazing views of Oveido!
Cons: Perhaps a few more pillows!
7.5 Good
Pros: Very rustic and beautifully decorated, lovely countryside location with amazing views to the city and just 10min drive from downtown.
Cons: The hotel does not have an iron because the host claims there’s no much space in the rooms for ironing. I’d find it very convenient if she changes her mind, as ironing comes quite handy in traveling, with tight bags and wrinkly clothes
7.1 Good

Cons: Beautiful design chairs, but don't try to sit on them or get any work done in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and unique hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable bed. Location was very good. Spacious room. Bathroom was very nice with a dressing area but dressing area is not enclosed. After bathing, stepping into the dressing room to put on clothing, no privacy especially if travelling with friends. Good to put a curtain to enclosed it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice comfortable hotel in the centre of Oviedo, we walked everywhere. Nice room with comfortable bed and good shower.
Cons: noise isolation could be a bit better, could clearly hear crying kid in other room. Parking at hotel is over-priced
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is excellent and most of staff are nice. They have beautiful umbrellas, that are more than needed in Oviedo.
Cons: The burger was good, but room service was poor (no napkins, no cutlery...) and expensive (28euros for a burger and a comercial beer).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We love staying at the Barceló Cervantes. The rooms are nice and big, the beds are so comfortable and the staff has always been incredibly nice to us! (Thanks !) The only downside is that things are starting to look a bit worn out. Nothing too crazy but a little surprising for a 5 star hotel. Location is perfect to visit Oviedo. Close to downtown and train station. We will definitely come back.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The staff, the design and beds. Very close to the centre of Oviedo.
Cons: Me and my girlfriend arrived late one evening after a very long day trekking and Silvia really looked after us. We were incredibly tired and hungry and she made our very brief stay really enjoyable, from ordering room service to helping us with directions for the next day, all in perfect English, which was a massive help with our basic level of Spanish! The hotel, although obviously designed for business customers still manages to be warm and welcoming, with nice little touches you get at high end hotels, like a pillow menu and heated mirror in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bath was excellent.

Pros: The hotel was at the standard level of any NH hotel. It was at walking distance from center and the rooms were clear and comfortable, although noisy and with a terrible view.
Cons: We thought that the staff could have been more friendly when we asked for information on the city and provide at least some complimentary water in the room when we arrived and not just put a bottle and few Apple at the reception that were totally stripped away by other guests.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked very much the location and the staff, who was very friendly helping us to get as much info as possible.
Cons: Rooms very noisy. I would not recommend to get the "roof" room as it was noisy with the neighbours plus the rain on the roof.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location. The staff are very nice.
Cons: We couldn’t do the check-in untill 15:00pm, because at 14:00pm (when they SHOULD have the room ready and clean), it wasn’t ready. Also, nobody was at the check-in counter when we left the room. So we couldn’t do the check-out. So sad.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of Oviedo old town. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The manager also made up for our difficulties with the AC in our rooms and moved us to different rooms.
Cons: The breakfast was inedible. The pastries tasted like plastic; the eggs were overcooked and tasteless; the coffee machine didn't work; the fruit was sour. The staff in general was not very sharp. We also had to change rooms because the AC didn't work - they should check the maintenance of the rooms beforehand.
10.0 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, the location perfect. Hotel seems a bit old. Breakfast was excellent as well.

Pros: Separate lounge room. Central location that was very quiet. Air con heating efficient. Very helpful reception staff.
Cons: Decor was too black making lounge area dark. Sofa not comfy. No drawers for clothes. No laptop safe.
