9.6 Excellent
Pros: Classic charm. Friendly service. Excellent swimming pool.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good and restaurant and staff excellent.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights, early/mid-week. The food here is excellent and very reasonable compared to UK prices. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially our waiter in the evening - giving guidance on wine, the menu and local knowledge. The bed was very comfortable and the shower water pressure was strong. The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes drive outside Oviedo in a peaceful country setting.
Cons: The venue has a spa - but no gym facilities, and no tea/coffee machine in the rooms - which I would have expected in a 5 star hotel. On the last night there was a lot of noise downstairs about midnight which kept us awake for about an hour.
7.0 Good
Pros: The foyer and common areas are very impressive. Dinner in the restaurant was good
Cons: The duplex room, with the bed upstairs had very poor windows, making it very dark. The headboard on the bed was not secure and rattled every time you moved. The breakfast was not up to the standard of other 5 star hotels we stayed in. No offer to help with bags on arrival, though on leaving we were helped to the car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing property, location, architecture, facilities, everything. Value for money has been the best we’ve had so far on our holidays and the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.
Cons: The realisation that we will probably never return.
7.1 Good
Pros: It is located in a nice setting away from everything in the middle of lush green and the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful.
Cons: This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but the room has seen a better day. there were stains in the carpet, stains on the sofa and the bathroom door had chipped paint. It all leaves a feeling that the place needs some caring. The bed was a bit too soft and I think it also needs an update on that. Then breakfast was a total disappointment: there were a lot of baked goods but they did not look fresh (it was a Monday and I think the hotel was pretty empty - so the breads and cakes might not have been delivered that day), the fruits also looked old (the pineapple even had dark yellow marks). There was good yogurt and made to order eggs any style you wanted and that was a positive thing about the breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Bad Wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the staff were all very helpful, we couldn't fault it.

Pros: the location was excellent, we walked everywhere and the place was very safe'
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location. Small but well appointed bedroom.
Cons: Adjoining restaurant fully booked. The air conditioning system didn't work. Room a little cramped. A liitle more style over substance. Difficult to drive to and park, although they do have valet service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location. The comfort. The cleanliness. The room and the hotel were exceptionally clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Although we were facing the main road there was very little noise overnight. The towels in the bathroom were enormous! A real luxury in my opinion! The location was brilliant. It was a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and old town and only 10 minutes from the railway station. Oviedo is a beautiful compact city well worth a visit!
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has amazing architecture. The breakfast was buffet style and quite adequate. We stayed in a suite and had amazing views of the city and mountains. Although we know there were others in the hotel it was quiet in our room. We walked each evening to the old town and it was about 20-25 minutes. One evening we hailed a taxi on the way home and it was around 6 euros. There was ample parking (had to be paid and was 14 euros per night) in the underground parking garage connected to the hotel. The gym facilities looked nice and had a good view.
Cons: Our room had a stand up shower and a bathtub shower. My partner tried to use the stand up shower and the door did not fully seal. This meant that soon there was a flood in the bathroom caused by the shower.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular building, large room.
Cons: Far from center, restaurant facilities very limited, some quality failures in the room. Having two showers is nice, but the door of one of them did not close well, resulting in water all over the floor.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern and easy to get Hotel. Friendly staff. Big and confortable room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the city about a ten minute walk from the city centre. Architecturally it's quite a stunning building. The view from the window was breathtaking.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike about the hotel, it's staff, or it's facilities. It was a mistake on my part not to have stayed longer. Maybe next time!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great sized rooms, comfy beds and excellent mood lighting, having a separate shower and bath is very good
Cons: Price of parking for motorbikes is expensive but at least it's secure, the shower functions didn't all work and the blind in the room wasn't functioning correctly, coupled with the price of the breakfast it was a little disappointing and the SPA facilities appeared to be all to pay for but on booking.com it suggest Jacuzzi and sauna are accessible to guests at no extra charge.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Dirty.

Pros: I am a repeat customer. I love this boutique hotel. Location is ideal. Breakfast across the street is varied and delicious. Staff is friendly. Facilities are comfortable and modern. Highly recommended.
Cons: I can't think of anything right now.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hotel right in the city center. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Will definitely recommend it to everyone going to Oviedo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: -Location - Check in - Staff - Bed - Cleanness We were given a smoker's room, and we don't smoke. After the 1st night, we requested to be changed and they kindly upgrade us to a Suite. Previous room was fantastic, the Suite was phenomenal. The staff was amazing with us. The location is a 10, and there's a Spa facility with good prices. We are going back to Oviedo, and we will definitely book Hotel Fruela without hesitation.
Cons: - Parking is a bit expensive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel and close to the old town
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, nicely decorated, very good staff and ideal location. Traveling alone I felt safe getting back to my hotel at any hour. Taxi stand across the street. Breakfast was quite good. They even have a pillow menu though it took2 days for my request to be filled. My only complaint was the shower. It was a gorgeous bathroom with a huge walk-in shower but there was no shower door or Curtain. Although I was very careful most of the bathroom floor got wet and I was concerned about slipping. Aside from that it was great and I would stay again.
Cons: Only the shower, and I couldn’t get Comfortable in the bed, even when the right pillows arrived, but I think that’s as much my problem as it was the hotels. Many hotels only use the very long pillows, the width of the bed, and I find them very difficult to get into a comfortable position.
6.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful city
Cons: Because the room was very warm (top floor) it was very noisy outside with the bar trade. I should have asked for the air conditioning to be sorted.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Comparing with other 5 stars hotels that I booked in this same trip, this was a ugly duck.

Pros: Comfortable v rooms, lovely staff, good food
Cons: We paid separately to use the pool. However there is no water available, other than what you take in. And if you want to pop out for lunch (or water) you have to pay to re -enter. Pros: Nice modern design, friendly staff, proximity to city center
5.7 Okay
Pros: Nice, stylish, friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately, incredibly hard to find. You park in a separate location near the hotel. The layout of streets and signage in Oviedo is very poor and confusing. Hotel should try to highlight that for international travelers who might not be accustomed to old Euro cities.

Pros: Warm welcoming, simpathy and professional personnel. Excelent location. Great value in terms of accomodation. Garage facility at-hand.
7.0 Good

7.4 Good
Pros: Well located for items listed above
Cons:
7.4 Good
Pros: A very conveniently-located hotel, close to the bus station, restaurants and shopping areas, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Good value.
Cons:
6.8 Good
Pros: Design, very close to city center and various wine bars, close to train station.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: The location, right in the heart of Oviedo yet within a minutes' walk of the bus and railway stations, and surrounded by useful shops, cafes, bars and restaurants; efficiency, friendliness and local knowledge of staff; ease of check-in and -out; whilst part of a chain, it feels individual enough. Relaxed and informal breakfast experience with a balanced variety of items on offer.
Cons: I don't mind the post-modern decor, but the carpet needs changing (certainly on floor 3) and possibly a revision of style. Storage in the room not great: cumbersome, rickety wardrobe that kept catching my fingers between the doors and the drawers. An armchair in the room would be appreciated. But on balance I think we'd go back to the 'Marcos'
5.2 Okay
Pros: The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast was very good. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel was near the station (nice walking distance) and the main streets.
Cons: The beds were not very soft. The wall paper of the room was a little too vivid for relaxing.

7.0 Good
Pros: A very impressive hotel with helpful staff. Easy to find (and to park - which is sometimes an issue with city-centre hotels). Spacious room with substantial balcony looking into the inner courtyard.
Cons: The huge lounge area and the courtyard were too big to be inviting, and the American Bar had all the atmosphere of a station buffet.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Room smelled of smoke and dust. Shower floor and walls mouldy. Shower did not seem to have been cleaned.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nothing in particular stands out about this hotel. We were a little underwhelmed.
Cons: On arrival, the lift from the carpark to reception only went part of the way, there was no signs to say there was an issue with it. There was a reaasonably large stain on the carpet outside the door to our room. The bathroom was not seperate enough from the main bedroom area, having a chainmail type 'wall' and only frosted glass on shower and toilet areas. The food in the restaurant was the worst we have eaten, anywhere. We did feed this back to the restaurant and reception during our stay. The breakfast and staff in that area were perhaps the only thing that was outstadning during our stay.

Overview Reviews
Located in Oviedo, Casa Camila is within a 5-minute drive of Fuente De Foncalada and Calle Uria. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.0 Good
Pros: Casa Camila is pretty and a great place to stay if you are looking for a retreat. The rooms are spacious, clean and the views are lovely. Breakfast is good and the breakfast room has gorgeous views. The grounds are well-kept and a natural haven.
Cons: It's 20 minutes by car from Oviedo and there's nothing around--no restaurants, bars or shops. It's remote and up in the mountains. If you are looking for a place for quiet rest, contemplation and relaxation, it's lovely. BUT it's not a great place to stay if you want to spend the bulk of your time in Oviedo. Also, breakfast is served from 7 - 10 am and there is NO FOOD available otherwise on the property and nothing nearby. Don't stay here if you don't have a car and/or if you want to hang out a lot in Oviedo.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff at Casa Camilla were very friendly and helpful. Excellent views over Oviedo. Breakfast was good and room as expected. If possible contact hotel for directions, sat nav doesn't provide the best rout.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location means an amazing and unbelievable view of Oviedo. Getting there isn't that hard as it may seem for the first time. Breakfast (even if we didn't ask for it in advance) was great, nice piano music was playing in the background. Wifi is available everywhere! They also have a beautiful veranda with a couch and chairs, books and lightning. Last but not least, the owner is an incredibly nice, helpful and kind gentleman!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with fabulous view.
Cons: Great location a long way from town. Long hilly walk or drive. It’s not a dislike just an observation.

8.8 Excellent
Cons: Isolation is very bad, you can hear your room neighbor wash his teeth. Corridors are very noisy at night due to clients
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location...proximity to bars & restaurants, and to the bus station for our onward journey the following day. Staff very helpful and friendly, all areas very tasteful and perfectly clean.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like, perfect for our purposes.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: Not very comfortable bed. Also bathtub was quite small (but still better than only a shower).
7.0 Good
Pros: Very handy for the station - as we had an early morning train, that was an important consideration. There's a lift from the station concourse down to a street-level access, which, if you have luggage, avoids a long flight of steps, and takes you to within a few metres of the hotel. Room clean and everything worked - it all looked quite new. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Lots and lots of bars a few minutes' walk away on the other side of the railway lines.
Cons: Room was a bit small. But adequate for one.
7.0 Good
Pros: location close to a specialist shop that I had arranged to visit. The room itself was ok for a 2 star city centre hotel.
Cons: Attitude of reception staff who had, prior to my arrival, sent contradictory messages about parking fees, saying that when they first said it would be free, they were referring to not charging me additional charges for checking in to the hotel at 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon when my question to them was about parking for one motorcycle.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great for those without a car, I suppose. We were with a car and just passing--we arrived late and were gone in the morning.
Cons: Parking places are for good drivers with great parking skills. Very very small parking spots and no maneuver space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the comfortable bed and the good value parking were all very much appreciated.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to find fault with. Would heartily recommend to anyone visiting Oviedo.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location fantastic....two minutes walk from bus or train station....two minutes walk from good restaurant and bar area.....15 minutes walk to old town. Hotel kicks well above its two star rating. Big rooms...good facilities...breakfast though basic plentiful
Cons: Nothing not to like

4.6 Okay
Pros: The location was the only positive at this hotel. It was excellent, bordering the historic center of Oviedo. I opted out of the buffet breakfast offered by the hotel and instead went to a bakery shop called Panerai for a continental breakfast (just across the street from the hotel and a very short walk away). Definitely recommend and very reasonable.
Cons: The hotel does not merit a 3 star rating. The rooms look outdated and the a/c was unusable because the staff did not explain or offer the remote control required to turn it in or off. In addition, opening the window only made sleeping even harder because of the noise in the streets below. The price was also higher than the quality hotels we stayed at. The buffet breakfast offered and for which my friends paid was a dismal experience. Do not recomnend In short, it was the worst hotel experience we had in Spain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The location was perfect, the room was great and Christina was amazing!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. It was perfect.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of Oviedo old town. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The manager also made up for our difficulties with the AC in our rooms and moved us to different rooms.
Cons: The breakfast was inedible. The pastries tasted like plastic; the eggs were overcooked and tasteless; the coffee machine didn't work; the fruit was sour. The staff in general was not very sharp. We also had to change rooms because the AC didn't work - they should check the maintenance of the rooms beforehand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent buffet breakfast - obviously catering more to spanish tastes, but I liked it! Hotel was able to print off my boarding pass. Staff very helpful. City centre location, close to cathedral, Old Town, and shops.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was perfect for our needs
Cons: We weren’t crazy about the decor and the style of the hotel but it worked perfectly well

Pros: Great hotel that does the job. No real luxury but all super clean, great bathroom, friendly, perfect location and so great value for money.
Cons: My main criticism is the lighting in the rooms, bright white light bulbs only which doesn’t create the ambience I was hoping for in the evening!
