I could check in already from 10am - and as I really needed sleep that was perfect!!!

Excellent location and very handy, reasonably priced private parking.

5th floor room has tiny windows and no fan/air con.

Spacious bedroom with a nice windows and view to the street. The free WiFi worked seamlessly and had good speed.

Faraway from the city center, with nothing around the area (no restaurants, no cafes, no shops). Bathroom was a bit clumsy, specially the location of the toilet (and space for it).

The breakfast was a big buffet, including thick pieces of indigestible chorizo as well as rock hard buns and cocoa puffs, very reasonably priced at 2 euros. The location was great for us, on the edge of the old city so easy to drive to and park but just a few minutes walk. You could literally roll home from the Bulevar de las Sidras.

We reserved a non-smoking room with a double bed, which the hotel confirmed. However, we got a room with twin beds, and when I asked at the front desk they said I could take that, or a smoking room with a double bed - they didn't have what we reserved, and made no effort to provide that for us or to apologize for it not being available. On booking.com their listing said they had parking, and they do in fact have their own underground lot, but it's not free. It cost a third of the price of our room. I wish they had made that clear. The room was nice enough, although the bedspread and some of the furnishings were a bit tired.
