Breakfast is excellent, more than we could eat. Very nice view of the valley and the kasbah
We found some hair in one of the pillows. Access is a little tricky but it's alright.
Djenna was wonderful and we loved to understand berber style, the rooms are lively and you hear the birds in the old kasbah immersed in loveliness
The location. We were able to experience a bit the labyrinthe of a Morrocan neighborhood.
The lack of good hygiene in the establishment. In the fee price breakdown you will see they charge a cleaning fee for 20€, however I did not feel, smell nor ser it in the hotel. When you claim a cleaning fee, and I don't mind paying, it should be obvious. We had a hard time sleeping because the room we stayed in was not passable for the word "clean". There was a small bed for my child, we sat on it and smelled that the pillows were not washed and it smelled like they were in the closet for years, that old smell. We were disgusted because my daughter was supposed to sleep in it and they didn't even put clean covers on it. Also the carpets in the room were dirty and stained. Also, in the bathroom, my husband saw a bunch of hair strands from different guests ( due to the different color) hanging on the ceiling, we suppose women staying had their hair stuck on the ceiling while drying it and the hotel staff is not bothered to clean it. And the bath towels smelled like cigarettes. You enter the room and it is quite obvious that it heavily lacks cleaning. The breakfast was ok, there were viennoiserie, french pastries however the coffee was terrible. Also, in the room we stayed, there was a very weird sexual photo that we thought was inappropriate to hang in a hotel where children can stay.
Great little find among the backstreets - quaint and comfortable rooms set upstairs over an open living area filled with books and trinkets. Jmia’a looked after us by giving us a choice of rooms, walking us to the restaurant we picked for dinner, providing a delicious breakfast and explaining to us a little about her life and history. Recommended.
Lovely original house which has been in the same family for years. Delightful hostess who treated us like one of the family; we were there on New Year’s Eve and though there was nothing planned we ended up joining with the family in music and good cheer.
It was freezing!
