Pros: Beautiful yard and kind staffs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything: the staff was extremely friendly, the food was amazing (Fatima is a great cook!, best food we had in Morocco and nice to eat next to the pool), slept well as nice room with real airco. Great place to stay and relax.
Cons: Nothing, this place is perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pretty riad with a lot of beautiful details. Super friendly staff. We made our own mint tea, which was nice. Dinner at the riad was outstanding!!! Definitely recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A gem at the door to the desert! The Riad was freshly decorated in classic Moroccan style and had a beautifully relaxing and friendly feel. The staff were all superb and worked together as a close team. The pool provided a wonderful oasis after a days exploration of the great sites and souks. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Fatima and her team were always on hand to guide us for taxis and excursions. Don't be put off that the hotel is close to the airport, we had no disturbance from it and in fact found the location a positive for getting about. This Riad is a real find and one our group hopes to return to.
Cons: Nothing. It was a great visit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was amazing, the staff very nice. The room was big. We had a good supper at the riad. I recommend this place.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fatima and team gave us a wonderful welcome and the Riad was beautifully decorated, the room was a comfortable size and the pool side beautiful as well. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.
Cons: Location is near the airport and a mosque, but finally the noise was minimal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff, they really made it a personal experience. Perfect location to discover Ouarzazate. The airport nearby was no problem at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was large, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Delicious food is served amid flowering vines, at tables overlooking the cool, pristine pool. After a long hot drive from the Sahara through the Draa valley and across the Anti Atlas Mountains, that Pool was like a vision of paradise.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely bread and very good coffee

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hosts, great breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our experience at the Dar Bergui war great. Jean-Michele and Martine are amazing hosts and helped us a lot with making our stay worthwhile by giving us tips and for example organising a guide for a visit to an nearby oasis. The room was decorated beautifully, very clean and big (I think they gave us an upgrade without telling us). Also the rest of the facility is lovely and gave us the opportunity to relax. We loved it, if we get the chance we'll come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location! It was a quick walk into the center, but away from the main hotel district, so we felt more a part of the neighborhood. The view over Ouarzazate during sunset was breathtaking at well! It felt more like bed and breakfast than a hotel. Thank you Dar Bergui!
Cons: We loved it all!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were welcoming and helpful however, unless you speak French communication is very limited. The hotel itself is very nice and meals are available if you order in adavance. A taxi into town is cheap and will happily wait while you have a meal. Fine for an overnight stop.
Cons: The rather isolated location towards the edge of town is not particularly convenient. .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Riad with amazing sunset views. We stayed there for the New Year´s eve, and we had a good experience. Since it was cold we couldn´t enjoy the swimming pool, but it seemed nice if it had been warm. Our room was huge and the bathroom very nice and clean. Good warm shower!
Cons: Heating in the room was defined to 23oC and the guests can not change the temperature, all you can do is turn it ON or OFF. We felt quite cold in the room in January, we wanted it a bit higher.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a jewel of a place. Rashid met us where we parked and escorted us to our charming room. He made himself available to us for all the questions we had. The staff was so warm and helpful. I couldn’t have dreamed this up. Purely magical.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super nice hosts and staff who make you feel welcome. Lovely breakfast. Very calm area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious rooms very close to the airport, with cheerful proprietors. Great value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very accommodating as I arrived at around 7:30 pm having booked 10 minutes before I arrived. Food was excellent as was the room
Cons: That I could not stay longer and use the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly hosts. Clean and tidy rooms, nice pool.
Cons: Payment by cash only. Bottle of water in the room would be great
Dar Bladi - Ouarzazate - Building
3
9.0 Excellent (193 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Tarmigt, Dar Bladi is within a 15-minute drive of Kasbah Taouirt and Atlas Studios. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and coffee/tea in a common area. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. The all staff were amazing!
Cons: Nothing to say.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful breakfast with date spread, crepes, delicious local goat yoghurt and freshly pressed mandarin juice. Amazing views from the rooftop terrace and very friendly staff. Clean rooms, pickup service from the bus terminal and wifi in the rooms. Supports local ecological and social projects.
Cons: The village is rather remote and obviously a lot poorer than you if you can afford to stay in this hotel. Nonetheless we felt welcome walking around, but be aware that you are best served with a rental car or by booking a tour of the region if you don't want to feel stranded.
7.1 Good
Pros: - The property is run by the same management as the most highly rated Dar Daif. The front desk is same for both. So you can expect same quality / luxury - The front desk guy during check out was very friendly and smiling. He even asked if I have water for my drive back and offered a bottle. - The room staff was extremely friendly. He made sure I have everything I wanted. He brought tea and snacks even though I checked-in very late. The breakfast was arranged excellent and it tasted great. - The room had a very authentic feeling. I loved it.
Cons: - Bed mattress was solid as rock. Not expected from this kind of place. - You will have to walk a few minutes from front-desk to your room. The front-desk staff during check-in did not help me with my luggage - I was carrying 4 things. - I don't care much about the location as I stayed just for the night but its far and not accessible if you don't have a car especially in the night. There were lot of pot holes on the way and it was pretty dark. I saw a bus on that street during day time though. - You will have to remove your shoe and wear their shoe in the property. They don't necessarily have your size and it was awkward as I have long feet.
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly people. Well restored traditional buidling, located in the middle of an old Kasbah, that was not in good shape. View over the valley from the terrace is nice. Food was good. Calm. Wifi worked fine. Managed together with Dar Daif.
Cons: It is a bit off everything... and even when you are there, you still need to take a little walking tour. Luckily they offer to carry the luggage. Currently building activities just in front. Pricing for dinner is a bit above what we experienced elsewhere.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The inner garden, the kindness of staff always very helpful to make your really enjoyable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and spacious room.
Cons: WiFi not working in the room so you have to go to the corridor to check yr mail.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our Stay at Dar Bladi was amazing. The location is great, the view from the terrace is mindblowing! The staff was very attentive, and even if we did not booked the dinner, they managed to organize everything "last-minute" and serve us an amazing dinner!
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. View was great. The girl was extremelly helpful and smily!
Cons: Internet didnt work on the rooms. Plus, its not ok to force guests to put on slippers inside the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view on the rooftop is amazing and we got a free upgrade to the better room.
Cons: The location is really far away from the city centre and you will need a car or a taxi to get there. There is not really much around this place. The breakfast was not good, it was small (no egg or cheese) and the coffee was really watered down, which is not acceptable for the price.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location with Ouarzazate view. Very good breakfast with a great choice of different flatbreads. They welcome you with tea and cookies, which were pretty good!
Cons: The bathroom was pretty dirty and the room could use some fresh paint. The biggest problem was a heater/AC located directly above our bed. The stream of warm air directly to my face throughout the night made me seriously unwell for the entire day (I stayed there in January, so heating was necessary).
7.0 Good
Pros: The lady who seems to run the place was wonderfully helpful, genuine and reliable. She went out of her way to allow us to eat in the divan on the roof terrace, which was a highlight. The views over the valley to Ouarzazate are superb, as is the context of the surrounding village. The food was very good, plentiful and well presented.
Cons: It's quite difficult to find, mostly because it wasn't obvious that it is a satellite of the Dar Daif hotel. All the signage majors on the Dar Daif.
6.3 Good
Pros: It gave a real sense of Morrocco, very authentic with wonderful views across to Ouarzazate, sheep bleating nearby and Donkeys passing by hard at work. The food was great and we were really well cared for with staff willing to help when needed.
Cons: It was a little too far out of town, therefore it could be difficult to taxi to. The petite taxis cannot go out that far. Luckily the tour company we used picked us up and dropped us back each day.
5.3 Okay
Pros: Authentig Kasbah
Cons: extremly dificult to found, its part of other house. parking- there is no hotel parking but parking on the street
4.3 Okay
Pros: Very nice view from the terrace, good breakfast.
Cons: A very bad smell in the bathroom that was preceived even in the bedroom.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying in an authentic Kasbah
7.3 Good
Pros: once the trepidation of finding the riad abates, you are rewarded with an exotic, authentic riad experience in a traditional small village.Roof terrace traditional moroccan meals are graciously served by staff that genuinely strive to please. Sunrise ambling on the roof terrace allow views of the palmerie and lake below, whilst marvelling at the clacking bills of mating storks and villagers fishing or scything greenery for their animals in the distance.Exiting the village through dusty, adobe walkways adds to the adventue and romance of the site.Frequent prayer call reminds you of your proximity to a ancient culture and way-of-life different than yours.Truly an oasis for the traveler after a hectic day in the souk!
Cons: we were travelling by rental car so this is taxing as there are NO signs for Dar Bladi. It is several kms outside town in a village barely touched by tourists. One follows timidly a broken track and gravel winding road for three kms before you luckily enlist the help of locals.Arriving a night was challenging. Not much lighting so an elegant, gentle man led us by flashlight up rough-hewn steps and sandy path through adobe tunnels to our riad, sighted on a plateau. Not for the intrepid but just what this romantacist ordered! One of our most memorable stays in 4 weeks in Morocco
Les Tourmalines - Ouarzazate - Bedroom

10.0 Excellent
Pros: After the madness of Marrakech, the peace and quiet of Les Tourmalines was so welcome. From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs. Even before our arrival we had to change our dates - due to illness - nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Christian, Damienne and Driss were fantastic hosts. Their genuine warm welcome and hospitality were second to none. The apartment was really clean, spacious and comfortable. The gardens and infinity pool were lovely - a little too cool to swim but we really enjoyed relaxing - looking out over the amazing lake. Our favourite bit was our daily dose of 'being spoilt' by the fabulous Manager Driss. The gorgeous breakfast by the pool was such a treat. Dinner in the traditional Berber tent each evening was even better. Delicious home cooked food (some of the best we had in our entire trip to Morocco) and nice wines - served with such warmth and lovely conversation each evening. We loved it so much we extended our stay.
Cons: Having to leave such a beautiful tranquil oasis.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff friendly, helpful and always smiling. Excellent food, lovely room, views and wine! We would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Everything was good!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just perfect! I was touched by how deeply Idriss seemed to care about our well being and enjoyment of the property. It seemed he was willing to do absolutely anything to make our stay smoother/more comfortable: adapt the evening menu to our pescatarian tastes, recommend dinner options in Ouarzazate, recommend attractions on our drive to Marrakech, etc. The room/property itself were beyond charming - the hotel is the epitome of faded elegance/a Grand Budapest Hotel vibe (in the best way!) We had the infinity pool to ourselves both days which was an excellent place to relax between desert driving and Marrakech madness.
Cons: Literally nothing — and I am a tough customer! Bravo :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really good and I enjoyed it me and my family ... Many thanks to my friend Idriss who works in the hotel he was helpful and smiling all the time ...gooooood service
Cons: Every thing
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff
Cons: Overpriced. Old towels. Dirty pool. Average breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: All I can say is that the hotel is located in a beautiful setting.
Cons: The hotel is a bit run down. Our room was pretty dusty and we had to clean it ourselves. The air conditioning would turn itself off every 5 minutes. In a 38 Celsius heat it was not very pleasant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: An amazing view from the pool. Awesome spacious decorated & clean rooms. Friendly staff. Dinner was great. Overall perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Torrmalines was superb in all aspects. I cannot speak highly enough about this note and if you are planning to travel to Morocco this is not to be missed. The welcome from Christian was exceptional and the service did not falter during our stay. Our rooms were extremely comfortable, spacious and set in a very lush garden near to the infinity pool. The breakfast by the swimming pool was an excellent way to start the day and we dined at the hotel both nights. The food and wine sensational with excellent service from Driss. We should have stayed longer than two nights.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Hotel in a perfect surrounding locatetd on a lake. Very kindly staff, especially Drees is real gentleman. Food is excellent and you can start your day with a breakfast on the terrace with this perfect view over the lake. woul absolutly recommend.
La Rose Noire - Ouarzazate - Building
5
8.8 Excellent (423 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Ouarzazate, La Rose Noire is a 1-minute drive from Kasbah Taouirt and 9 minutes from Atlas Studios. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
6.7 Good
Cons: Due to some construction work in the area surrounding the hotel, it was difficult to reach the hotel and the surrounding areas in town. In addition there was no functioning lighting in the area, Hence, it was difficult to leave the hotel after dark. Otherwise it was quite a pleasant stay. In any case, reaching the hotel's parking area is impossible without local assistance.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Beware that this hotel is definitely not what You read on the critics. Fist of all, the streets that lead to it are filled with mud, dirt and no lighting (very important for people who arrive late in the evening)! There are also no signs so you’ll have to wait for your driver to lead you there, as the streets are narrow and cars cannot make it to the entrance. The hotel itself is a dump. Very hot, the AC in the rooms doesn’t work properly. Ours was leaking inside the room, and in our friends room it didn’t go bellow 29 degrees. Our room resembled a medieval torture Chamber and was very dark. The bathroom was tiny, the shower was a joke. You had to hold the shower head to be able to shower, and the drain didn’t work so that meant the bathroom was flooded every day. The hair dryer only works for about 30 seconds before shutting down. Let’s not even talk about breakfast!! There iogurt and the juices are store bought, and you have to fight with a family of flies to be able to try and eat!! Also note that the breakfast is usually serve on the terrace at the top of the building, still if they do find its resonable to serve it elsewhere, they DON’T WARN YOU WHATSOEVER!! As you can see by now, the staff is everything but nice. Only the lady speaks (some) English and note they DONT accept VISA!! They only accept cash. The lady had the nerve to say to us that we “didn’t ask” when we panicked when we heard that we wouldn’t be able to pay with card! Worst experience possible! Stay AWAY!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is easy to access and the rooms are very large (they remain cool in the hot weather thanks to the traditional architecture!). Jamilla, our host and owner was extremely kind and welcoming, advising us on tours and putting us in contact with really wonderful people (reliable taxi driver and an amazing trip to the Erg Chigaga desert desert camp with an excellent company!). Jamilla was always available for help, and even prepared some special tea herself to help clear my headache. Thank you so much!! The rooms were lovely, very clean and comfy, and decorated in traditional style. The breakfast is really generous, held on the terrasse overlooking the kasbah, with freshly baked breads and traditional pancakes to fuel you through the day! We highly recommend staying at this property and cannot thank Jamilla (and all her staff) enough for all her kind attentions and for being such a great host! We hope to be back soon :) Thank you once again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rose Noire is one of those places which makes you want to go back. It was a highlight riad stay in our trip and we are still talking about it one month later. Thank you!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great Place with beautifully decorated rooms in berber style and a great terrace. Nice staff and perfect location, even if difficult to find in an aerea which Is being totally renovated and everywhere Is a work in progress
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very positive experience. Great views from terrace for the lovely breakfast. You can get to the centre by local bus No.1 from a main road. The property is close to Kasbah Taourirt.
Cons: The area is currently under renovation.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Terrible breakfast , no dinner , very dirty inside and outside
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Located in the “Old Ouarzazate” the Hotel is really nice and clean. Staff is amazing, and the breakfast on the terrace is fantastic
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: large clean room with a good air-condition. very authentic. fast WiFi. rich breakfast with a view. truly Moroccan experience.
Cons: unpaved road to the hotel - added well to authenticity.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Staff was warm and plesent although could not be understood
Cons: Don't let the pictures fool you, this is more of a guesthouse then an authentic property. Toilet are very basic and smells, and facilities are in a low level. No one on the property speaks english. Enterance is bad and almost immposible to enter with luggege. Location sopposed to be good but the whole kasbah is under renovation so it is bad. This place is not bad, its just not what its pretends to be.

Pros: The best food and the best stay in our trip. Nicely decorated and very cosy rooms.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host was great - he gave us some food appropriate for our sick stomaches :) The room was clean, aircon was working very well.
Cons: The bathroom was a little bit rusty and without a door, but it's OK for the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner's family and him are very fliendly. Dinner excellent. Everything is OK.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family, great food and beautiful rooms! Very welcoming and helping even though we didn't speak any French.
Cons: Nothing to complain!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: · Kasbah la datte d'or is completely authentic, it was exactly as we hoped. It has a pretty sheltered rooftop terrace overlooking the amazing palmerie of Skoura on one side and views of the beautiful sunsets on the other. La kasbah Very clean & a wonderfully warm welcome from Monsieur Abdellatif, the owner. We enjoyed mint tea on arrival & after the sunset, the most delicious chicken tagine, both served on the terrace. honestly it was the the tastiest tagine we have had whilst in Morocco. Bedroom was simple and authentic & air con for different seasons. Thank you! We will return.
Cons: · That I couldn’t stay longer.
7.1 Good
Pros: The price was great - we just stayed one night while passing through town. They had parking available in front of the hotel which was nice. The man who checked us in was very friendly and even gave us a parting bottle of rose water when we left which was very sweet.
Cons: For the price it's hard to complain I guess, but there were a couple negatives. There isn't much sound proofing and we were staying there while a family with children were which made the stay quite noisy. When I tried having a shower I only had cold water, but my partner later had a hot shower so I may have just been unlucky. The mattress was the worst part, very well worn and uncomfortable - two craters for people to sleep on either side and a rise in the middle. It was adequate for the night though.
7.9 Good
Pros: The Kasbah has a very nice yard. The food was really delicious.
Cons: The owner of the Kasbah doesn't speak English so it was a bit difficult to communicate. Unfortunately, we didn't get any advice on the sights in Skoura although we asked, but maybe the reason for that was that the owner was ill at the moment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful home to be welcomed into, the children were an absolute joy. Thankyou
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Amazing welcoming, very nice family running the hostel, I had an upgrade to a private room for free. Amazing food homemade... Can't say anything bad about this place... Wonderful

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The landlady agreed for us to do check-out earlier than in her offer. She offered us coffee and some sweets although she serves breakfast later. It was very kind of her! The kasbah is situated off the road and it has an amazing atmosphere after you enter the patio. I wish I had had time to try the dinner they offer. The location is comfortable whether you want to visit the Atlas studio or it’s just a stopover on the way to the desert. I definitely recommend it!
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
Dar Chamaa - Ouarzazate - Bedroom
8
8.6 Excellent (110 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The charming hotel is located in southern Morocco, in the city of Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert, and in Berber it means 'without noise'. It is close to the mountains of the Atlas and the Draa River valley, and is the ideal starting point for excursions into the Draa, Dades and Souss valleys, and to Zagora, Erfoud and Tineghir. Guests will find shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife, links to the public transport network, a bus station, the kasbah and the Museum of Cinema in the city centre, approximately 3 km from the family-friendly hotel. Guests can also easily travel to other cities, such as Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou (35 km) or Agadir, from the hotel, and Ouarzazate Airport is around 4 km away. The hotel is a wonderful example of craftsmanship and the use of typical Moroccan materials. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. Hot water is provided by solar power, and the hotel features gardens with native vegetation, and a patio with a fountain. The hotel is air-conditioned throughout and has an area with free WLAN Internet access for customers. Further facilities available to guests at the 20-room hotel include a TV lounge, a breakfast/dining room, room service, a car park. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, and all are equipped with a shower, toilet and bath towels. Each room features a double bed, Internet access, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, and a private balcony in some of them. The riad offers an outdoor swimming pool and a sun terrace with parasols. The hotel will assist in helping guests book tours, and hire cars, bicycles or quads from reputable agencies. The riad offers bed and breakfast, half-board and full-board stays. Lunch and dinner are also served a la carte and guest may alternatively select their dinner from a set menu.
7.9 Good
Pros: I booked this hotel as an overnight stay for our trip from Marrakech to Merzouga. Before arriving we visited Ait Ben Haddou and the Atlas studio’s. It was so nice to arrive in this serene place after day of traveling! The pool was nice to relax at for a couple of hours and the room was nice. We had diner and breakfast at the hotel, which was ok.
Cons: The location. There is really nothing else there and it feels like it’s not the best neighbourhood.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good mid-prices choice. Would have been a better choice in warmer season.
Cons: A little off the beaten path.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great lighting in the bathroom.
Cons: Heating could have been better
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful host and staff, good breakfast and dinner.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: In contrast of the very pure and maybe even poor direct area the hotel is a bubble of relaxation. Great pool area. Rooms were more than ok. Shower is very good. Dinner in the hotel was nice. Staff was frienly.
Cons: Service at the pool could make the bubble experience even better.
7.1 Good
Pros: The entrance of the riad is very nice , so is the pool area . The staff are very nice. They upgraded us to a superior room.
Cons: Evening set menu was very poor. Hospital food is much better in my opinion . Beds were a bit hard and rooms very basic tough they upgraded us with a superior room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Beautiful riad. Modern but still with lots of Moroccan details. We loved it! Unfortunately is was too cold for swimming but the garden, pool and lounge are amazingly beautiful.
Cons: Wifi was great during the day when the other guests were out, in the evening the wifi was not so strong anymore (but still beter than lots of other places we stayed at).
5.0 Okay
Cons: Air con leaked all night, dinner not that great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a friendly welcome by the friendly and, of course, the mint tea. The location is not so easy to find but as a half way from Marrakesh to Merzouga Desert, we recommend the stay. Lovely view from our room and when it is warmer, the swimming pool is a plus.
Cons: Maybe during dinner we could have at least 2 options to choose as a menu. For a new hotel, maybe an elevator for seniors or disable people would be nice - but we understand most of Riads/Small hotels in Morrocos dont offer elevators.
7.9 Good
Pros: The pool & garden is the highlight!
Cons: Air conditioning was not powerful enough for comfort for all family members

Pros: Lovely room & hotel. Good brekky. Good location.
Cons: They just need to put shower curtains across the bath to stop water splashing all over the bathroom when showering. Otherwise everything was good.
6.7 Good
Pros: Interesting concept and nice each room is different. The staff were very helpful and kind.
Cons: The property was very overpriced. It felt run down and tired.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is decorated according to movies shot in Ouarzazate. The dinner menu was good. The tajin and the white fish were delicious.
Cons: The bath room in Cleopatra does not have shower curtain and there is no drainage on the floor. So after the shower, the bath room was flooded.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good. The dinner was also good.
Cons: Attitude of the staff. And their non-cooperation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s located near the center of the city. Very quiet area. Hotel stuffs are very kind and nice. Garage is very good. Restaurant is very nice. The Morocco dishes are very delicious.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the decor, the pool and out door area, and mostly we loved the staff! They were kind and welcoming, and very accommodating, too.
Cons: The lunch and dinner prices were quite high for the area at €30. We chose to eat out in town.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property and, above all, the people working in it.
Cons: Breakfast could and should be better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful guest house, very unique rooms, lovely dining area, nice pool and welcoming staff. A/C worked great. Mini fridge in room and nice fruit. Clean and well decorated.
Cons: Everything was great! The restaurant in the hotel was delicious just a bit pricey for the portion size. I understand it was a small place and maybe we wanted more because it was so good.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful, I wish we'd had more time to enjoy the pool which was excellent. The rooms are really nice
Cons: Reception were very poor, to the point of rudeness and tried to double charge me for my group. Some of the meals were served cold at dinner and had to go back. The cocktails were dreadful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice property, loved the berber houses with rooms.
Cons: Standard luxury hotel.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: This was a terrible hotel, checked in and found the housekeeper asleep on our bed when we entered the room. Very apologetic but still set the tone for the stay. No Gin available at the pool bar (for a 5 star hotel anywhere in the world I’d expect the basics) and staff seemed rude and disinterested in us as guests. We were ripped off by the guide recommended by the hotel and the whole stay was very expensive for what we received in service and amenity. Don’t stay here.
Cons: Staff lying on my bed when I checked.....
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Staff are nice.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great facilities. Nice film sets and photos relating to the local film industry.
Cons: Used a lot by coach tourism (of course I'm a tourist too, so I guess I can't complain too much).

Pros: Cheap accomodation. Nice clean and tidy rooms. friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rich breakfast with orange juice and mint tea, smiling and very kind staff, clean room, price benefit balance. 15 minutes by walking to city center. Or you can go to city center by Petit Taxi paying only 5 DH. I think Ouarzazate has the cheapest taxi in the world. After check-out, They let me to leave my luggages until my flight time. I strongly recommend Hotel Marmar.
Cons: There isn’t nothing that I didn’t like.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great welcome
Cons: Location was a little bit noisy
9.2 Excellent
Pros: An aroma of herbs in the room, lights and wall's colour ...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is a great city hotel. The room was huge and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Nice stay.
Cons: The location is not that good if you want to be close to the central square and you need a taxi or about 20-30' walking. The breakfast was very basic.

Cons: We should have air condition, but we had not. It was not in price, and it was not mentioned in booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff.
7.5 Good
Cons: It was ok, but we have stayed in much better places for less money all around Morocco. You have to pay extra for parking and climatisation.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Greeted with the traditional mint tea and Moroccan pastries. Pool area itself was prwtty
Cons: Just a very hot hotel, AC did not cool room well. Loud hallways, and dark areas. Hotel restaurant was lacking in food variety. Set menu for dinner but breakfast was good. Not a lot in the town which is not the Riad’s fault.
7.1 Good
Pros: Ok normal room with no extra comfort
Cons: The room was not very cozy but ok, the restaurant was not very friendly, and when we asked about breakfast, they were not able to tell us what they have, in the end, they only showed us written possible items in the phone, but nothing was ready
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, old world charm, big bed, spacious room #7 with desk, excellent shower, good toilet, very good working a/c, very accommodating & helpful staff, 2 complimentary bottles of water in room (not per day, one time only). I initially had an issue with WiFi log-in, & the I.T. person remedied it immediately.
Cons: I didn’t like that the riad didn’t accept credit cards (plastic). I am traveling for 3 months, and using plastic as form of payment provides a better and easier budget process. The cleaning staff did not provide new clean towels the second day of my stay (I requested at front desk).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Amlal is a great place to stay. Stayed there for a night en route to the desert. Friendly, helpful staff. Good, comfortable facilities. An excellent set up in Ouarzazate. Thanks!
7.9 Good
Pros: The receptionist and personnel were really friendly and helpful. The camel sunset tour was magnificent and worth every penny.
Cons: All in all the food wasn’t worth its price. I love Moroccan food but this was way too oily. Also the 4x4 tour offered was not worth 100 Euro. We were done within 2 hours (promised tour of 5 hours). However the camel sunset tour was magnificent and worth every penny.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: There is a private parking available in front of the hotel, room was were clean and huge and the staff friendly. worth the money.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location for stop off on the way to the desert. Very friendly staff and clean big rooms. Nice pool and chill areas. Wifi was the best we have had in Morocco so far! All in all good stay
Cons: Shower was a bit temperamental lol
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staffs are friendly and they are really approachable. The location is near at the CTM bus and near the Center area. It's a quite relaxing place and not so much people around to haggle with.
Cons: The shower head is broken and sometimes you need to get up early or take shower early in the evening coz it's cold water after 10pm. Breakfast is always serve cold and the same servings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service was really on high level, and I accommodation was worth every single penny
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Decent breakfast, good location, super friendly staff. Parking in front of the entrance was no problem.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel upgrade us to a larger room
Cons: There are flies and mosquitos in the room. Also the restaurant in the hotel is horrible, the breakfast dishes are explored under too many flies.... I only had one boiled egg and that is not fresh too!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great! They upgraded is for free to a great suite! I loved the decor, and how everything was organized. The staff were super friendly and lovely! Right next to the hotel was the oscar studio. We enjoyed taking pictures at the studio but a bit has to be fixed. The dinner was great specially the lemon sauce dishes! Definitely recommend!
Cons: The only thing I think they need to add is an iron for the clients and real coffee. Would be great to have a coffee not made from a machine with disposable cups for breakfast.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: I was quite regret to have booked here, there are too many flies and mosquitos in the hotel, which other hotels doesn't have, the food is very poor quality and people stayed here (from my observation) are mainly people travelled by tour groups.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptional. In reception the manageress Hind and receptionist Maria were always on hand to help any way possible. As we arrived later than we expected we ate in the restaurant. It was a buffet, which was very enjoyable. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Again the staff couldn't have been more helpful On our last day night we were offered a free upgrade to two suites. This was a very pleasant surprise. The Director was always on hand and always greeted. A very nice hotel in the Atlas where service comes first For us a definite hotel that we will visit again
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was gorgeous, was given a free upgrade on arrival
Cons: If i have to find something.. buffet dinner was a little limited by European standards but hey we’re not in Europe so it’s fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff , good location ,food good , and great fun themed hotel. Would definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we walked into the hotel, we were greeted with such warmth. After a long day of travelling, there’s nothing better than that! Considering we arrived a day early for our booking, the manageress gave us a beautiful suite for a generous price. The following day we were offered a room upgrade. This was to the presidential suite! I mean, if that isn’t the best was to be treated at a hotel. I don’t know what is! Everything about this stay was magical, we are so grateful. Andy & Jago
Cons: Not a thing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, they had fresh msemen. Swimmingpool was good.
7.1 Good
Pros: We enjoyed that the staff from the reception solved the issue we had for the room and that they gave us a good room.
Cons: The staff from the restaurante/bar were very bad. They Didnt gave us any attention, we had to wait a lot to order. It wasnt pleasent because we felt they were only serving well older customers. We order a bottle of water and they didnt even brought glasses.

4.6 Okay
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel is the staff.

Pros: The best part of this stay was a very friendly staff who were fluent in English and very helpful. The room and the whole space is very stylish, perfect for photos! Cons: Pool area looks worse than on pictures, there is only two broken sunbeds and swimming pool is little bit dirty.WiFi was bad.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The place is situated in a very dark street with no paviment. We arrived after sunset on a rainy day, feeling not only insecure but afraid of damaging the rental car because of the many rocks we found on our way there. Even though it's true that it's located just a few minutes away from the city center, the neighbour irself is isolated and has no shops or restaurants nearby.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly owner. Good breakfast and welcome tea.
7.5 Good
Pros: Big room and very nice poll.
Cons: Simple breakfast. Coffee was weak.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel and very good family approach to guests. I can recommend everyone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accomodation was very nice and clean. Riad looks stunning. We came with a car, so a parking spot in the garden was really appreciated. The host was very hospitable and helpful. He helped us with plans for rest of our trip, suggested some great locations to visit and told us a lot about his culture. Breakfast was also included and was good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner with very charming family. The host speaks English which is good advantage. Good breakfast and welcome tea. Here we had the best shower on the whole trip, because we had hot water.
Cons: Wi-fi works on common areas.

Pros: The stay in the city of Ouarzazate has been made unforgettable by the great hospitality of Momo. We felt at home in the hotel. The breakfast is very good, the rooms are clean. If you advise in the morning, the evening will be prepared for dinner. Excellent imperial Cuscus. If we go back to Morocco, for sure we come back here!
Cons: I have nothing to criticize, the room was warm even in winter. Bravi!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, nice placement, good breakfast and good value for the money.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was handy & breakfast adequate
Cons: The photos were deceiving. Old sticky plaster left behind in the shower. No water glasses in the room. Had to search for someone when we arrived at reception.
4.6 Okay
Pros: the fact it is right near the old town of Ait Benhaddou, the swimming pool was nice
Cons: breakfast was one of the worst of my 10 day trip, no passion at all in the way it is presented. Rooms were hot, air conditioner was not good enough and squeaking at night, overall felt not so clean and staff was rather unfriendly
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The hotel was dusty and not kept up. Everything felt old and used.
6.3 Good
Pros: The decoration of the room was made of adobe.
Cons: The room for the breakfast was durty, the tables unclean , the dishes and glasses were old. This is not what I have seen in other Riads of the same price level. People from the reception were kind but not professionals, not used to speak with foreigns, You could not recognise who was working there because every one was wearing their own clothes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Authentic lovely riad. Friendly staff. Clean, peaceful, quiet. What else an urbanite wants....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, looks like a scene from 1000 & 1 nights. Luxery and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. We stayed there for one night on our way south to Mhamid.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay, very comfortable clean room and good breakfast
Cons: The price was quoted in Euros but the DH exchange rate was nothing near to the official exchange rate. The room in DH worked out at almost 20 Euros more.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, clean and cool pool to relax after a long ride
7.9 Good
Pros: Maktoub is a nice hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The terrace is lovely, with view on the kasbah which is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Staff is friendly although very busy with groups.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't great, none was in the room, just a few things left there, a little of cold coffee, a couple of old juices, a poor slice of bread, an old cake with fly on it and that's all. Definitely not great quality, probably they were focusing on a big organised group and none thought about the other guests. However, dinner the night before wasn't great as well I am afraid. If you stay in this hotel, which has nice rooms, I would suggest you having meals somewhere else.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was good as well as the private parking.
Cons: The swimming pool was quite disappointing. The breakfast was poor. In the room, we never found a hair dryer.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Pool size and poll cleanliness was ok. Nice touch with live peacocks walking in back garden. Check in very nice and friendly. Good size parking and easy to find. Good air-conditioning without smell of dump. Nice firm bed and pillow. Very large shower.
Cons: Stairs smells like an old mop. They need to scrub it with some stronger chemicals instead just mopping with dirty water. Breakfast was horrible. Tasteless cheapest products. That was strange because breakfast in Ibis in Vienna, Amsterdam and many other places was always very good. Doors for a staff to the kitchen wasn't cleaned in this millennium. I'm afraid what was in the kitchen. Our lunch was very bad as well. One thing what annoyed us most was that next door is really noisy night club. First night it was ok but second night was horrible. When I went to the reception at 3am for some earplugs reception staff was laughing at me and didn't help at all. I'm Really disappointed. Sleepless night.
7.9 Good
Pros: Is quite modern for uarzatate, the swiming pool is very nice, beds are very comfy.
Cons: Nothing relevant
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Coldwater, AC not functioning properly. a 2 stars property priced as 4-5 stars. Could've been better.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The view from the room
Cons: The lift was not working, the room too small. The 2 single beds were put right next to each other forming one big bed. No water or fridge in the room. Couldn’t find the number to call reception. The price is too high for what is offered.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Les employés sont courtois et serviables.
Cons: Ils ont chargé une taxe d'hébergement de 9%, 40 dhs, à notre départ. Pourtant j'ai été chargé sur ma carte de crédit pour une taxe.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The pool and outside area
Cons: Receptionist was very arrogant, shower was broken in room tiles where falling off , air condition was also broken (but fixed within an hour), the pool also closes to early especial when its 35 degrees c
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is really good. The building from the outside looks nice. There is a pool. The bar serves alcoholic beverages. Guarded private parking.
Cons: The room is small, used and dated. The TV is an old TV set with bad channel reception and picture. The walls of the room were all over dirty from previous guests. It would badly need a new paint job and the carpet could also use a thorough cleaning. No hair drier in the bathroom. The toilet seat is repainted…why would anyone do this, instead of replacing it, when toilet seats are not that expensive? All the switches are filthy dirty from the hands of previous guests. Breakfast is rather average. The A/C you could either turn on or off but the temperature setting did not control it. Overall it is far from an IBIS hotel standard and for the price rather expensive.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location near the kasbah. Good breakfast. Beautiful building and swimming pool.
Cons: Service barely acceptable. Free peacocks shitting around the swimming pool.... NOT acceptable !
