10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were excellent and the proximity to the historical center was definitely a plus. We booked 2 rooms as there were 5 of us. Although my husband and I were in a separate location, everything is walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have been very well welcomed by Luisa, the flat is right in the entrance of the historical center (although we slept very well). Few steps to climb to access the appartment (if you visit the center you will climb much more) and lot of restaurants really close with big terrace on which our childs spent almost all time running during the dinner. Very nice breakfast as well - thanks again Luisa !
Cons: Nothing (just keep in mind a few steps to climb). Although we went with grandmother and she managed to climb it quite easily with the ramp
10.0 Excellent
Pros: AWESOME PLACE!!! Really old house with interesting design and the breakfast was fantastic. You can say it is in the city old centre, there is huge public parking 5 min walk and it is cheap.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely apartment, with fully equipped kitchen. Loved the roof terrace too. The owners were very kind and picked us up at the train station.
Cons: Blinky light in kitchen needs fixing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with an amazing rooftop terrace offering a great view of the city.
Cons: Great apartment in a fantastic location. Highly recommended for a relaxed stay in Ostuni.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly lady, even drove me to the train station which is far from the city centre to catch the train; good position, wonderful breakfast, comfortable bed, best B&B in Ostuni !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The homely feel and the fantastic breakfasts. The room was earthy and simply designed in a beautiful old house..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the separate apartment and it was amazing! Incredible value for money, really comfortable and in a great location. The best part of this property is the roof terrace for sure with a beautiful view over Ostuni. Highly recommended!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Roof terrace and views amazing. Perfect location for sightseeing/restaurants.
Cons: Steep stairs.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s a spacious apartment, with a roof terrace with a beautiful view over the old city centre. It’s very well localised.
Cons: The breakfast was ok but not exceptional: packaged croissants and cookies.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds, superb hospitality by the staff, wonderful breakfasts and dinners, and the best cotton sheets I’ve ever slept in. We met many interesting people from all around the world.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are so lovely, by the pool is great!
Cons: Our room was right above the area where they hold dinner each night, so it was quite loud until late into the evening. We had heard such good things about the food, so opted to do this on our first night-I don’t think see saw the kitchen in its best form due to the large tour group staying onsite for 5 days, it seems like things were a little more simple than usual which was disappointing for the €55pp cost.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location to Ostuni, Monopoli, Noci, Martina Franca was wonderful for day trips and exploring, but the the tranquility of the farm with all its amenities was a wonderful change from the busy cities we had already visited. The highlight was the prepared meals paired with local wines! It was a lot of food so choose the number of courses accordingly for your appetite! The staff was very kind and helpful! We would recommend stopping by here while visiting the area!
7.9 Good
Pros: Loved the dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious and the staff excellent Also ,the pool was beautiful.
Cons: Hot water running out . Could have told us more about the olive groves. Where the oldest tree is , how the harvest etc .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and the ambience in the courtyard day and night was very nice.... a great lighting. The set dinner was superb as we're the selection of wines. The pool area was very spacious and a lovely area to relax in after a day of touring.
Cons: The WiFi was terrible in the remote rooms and there was no cellular coverage to use as an alternative. The dining formula in the evening was very restrictive and no other a la carte menu options
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, romantic property, lovely staff and fantastic food and wine.Delicious breakfasts.Great pool area, all surrounded by the most incredible olive groves.
Cons: Management, knowing we were staying for 7 nights should have put us in a quieter room. This property is very much a gourmet destination, large numbers of outside guests in each evening, catering for weddings and groups- created more noise often late into the evening than expected. Would have been nice to have had a small lunch offering in the beautiful courtyard Wifi and mobile phone service just terrible Bed,linen and pillows could have been better
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great stay on my final night in Puglia. Loved the dinner and wine pairing- beautiful location.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: I’ve read the recent reviews & quite frankly I feel like I stayed at a completely different place. They were totally obsessed with the ‘eating experience’ & once we said that we weren’t going to dine, we were completely ignored! No welcome drinks, no complimentary olive oil, no welcome tour, no pool towels, no nothing! Where do I start? The room (an upgrade) was dark, with dark heavy furniture & no windows so no natural light. The bathroom was tiny & completely unacceptable for the premium we paid to stay here, & felt like something out of my grandmothers house from the 1970’s. The shower was so tiny as to be claustrophobic so I couldn’t use it comfortabley & when you turned the tap on there was an uncomfortable smell of drains! The whole thing should be ripped out & upgraded for 2019/2020! The breakfast was mediocre at best, & the final nail in the coffin was when I asked at breakfast for English Breakfast Tea I was told ‘No! Finished!’ All I wanted was a teabag for goodness sake! Totally unacceptable, so I went back to my room & got my own teabag! We paid €466 for 2 nights! If this was half that price, it would still have been too much! This was the most expensive place we stayed at on our trip & absolutely the worst! There are far better Masserias in the area, costing a lot less. It is actually very difficult to eat badly in Puglia, & you really don’t need to eat here when there are fabulous Osterias in the area serving amazing local food! The ‘dining experience’ was a total tourist trap for the gullible! Neither I nor any of my friends will ever stay here! We weren’t even given a goodbye when we left through the gates! You should be ashamed of yourselves!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning property restored beautifully
Cons: Food expensive

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacy room with excellent design. Dining area and high quality food with fresh from the garden ingredients.
Cons: Nescaffe in the room. We suggest small Illy machine with real coffe.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice yard at the front, nice rooms, nice restaurant area.
Cons: We were just missing the magic that places like this can have in this area. I am sorry to say so for the owners because they are trying to do their best, but it all felt a bit stressy and the prices do not reflect what they offer. It is missing the little details like; limited breakfast, no wifi at the pool, unprofessional personnel in the restaurant area, hard air dried pool towels and even a lack of trust in the decency of their guests with a book of house rules at arrival, a self service bar called 'honesty bar' and explaining already at the introduction that kids should be quiet around the pool from 1 till 4 pm?! I mean, we are decent parents and know how to correct our kids when they are not behaving in a public area, but they are also kids. All in all it seems to be a bit 'calculated' and it did not feel like the warm embrace that we've experienced in other places in Puglia.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully renovated. Nice touches like fire pits lit in the evening. Excellent evening meal.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was so authentic, fresh and had a great variety. The accommodation was gorgeous (we stayed in the suite), pool area and restaurant were all beyond our expectations and staff were very accommodating.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, first rate facilities, excellent food and very helpful hosts
Cons: This is quite an expensive Masseria (including dinner) but it was one the best we have stayed at
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EXCEPTIONNALLY KEPT PROPERTY ALL DETAILS HAVE BEEN THOUGHT OF HANDS ON OWNER YOU CAN LITERALLY DO ANYTHING YOU WANT MINUTES FROM OSTUNI CLOSE TO OTHER GREAT LITTLE TOWNS OVERALL EXCPTIONNAL
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor, location and food were amazing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, pool area, outside dining area overlooking pool and also inside traditional style dining area. Spotlessly clean in all areas of hotel. The breakfast was amazing, buffet style with lots of choices and homemade. Also had 3 delicious evening meals.
Cons: Need a car as slightly out of Ostuni, this wasn’t a problem for us as we had a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we liked everything
Cons: N/A
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautifully restored Masseria in the quiet countryside close to Ostuni. The meals were prepared with ingredients from the working farm. The pool was a welcome relief from the summer sun.
7.7 Good
Pros: The owner escorted us to our room and was extremely nice and spoke English excellently. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. The place is quiet and lovely, very peaceful and relaxing. I would heartily recommend this place.
7.0 Good
Pros: The owners, Memo and Danielli who were wonderful hosts, and the food and wine which were both excellent and good value.
Cons: The room was very comfortable but the "piccolo bagno" made showering a challenge. This did not detract from the whole very positive experience.
7.0 Good
Pros: It environment around the converted farm buildings seemed well cared for, and the flowerbeds and trees made the whole place seem very attractive. There is a lovely terrace, on which we enjoyed sitting comfortably to read in the sun or watch the sun set. The restaurant is especially good. It has a fixed menu for dinner which is good value and serves beautifully cooked local food. We liked the fact that we had a kitchenette so that we could also make our own meals sometimes. We enjoyed the swimming pool which is a good size. You are in the countryside but only about 2 km from Ostuni which is a beautiful town.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic food, close to Ostuni, wonderful host, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
6.7 Good
Pros: quite good - a bit difficult to find initially entering into Ostuni - is some distance from the town centre. good rooms -
Cons: overall good value slightly small shower - otherwise reasonalbly sized rooms with kitchnette and private facilities
4.4 Okay
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: The rooms are basic and the breakfest was ok. As in was mid October the rooms were cold and the grounds could not be used to full advantage.
5.2 Okay
Pros: I think the hotel has good facilities, very clean and the staff were very helpful once they understood what we were saying.
Cons: There was no English spoken, limited breakfast unless you like cake this was fine for me as I have stayed there before but if you are not aware this can be difficult especially as I had a 9 year old with me
7.2 Good
Pros: Yes, you can park outside your room and it is lovely and quiet. Our room also had a kitchenette with large fridge and cooking facilities.
Cons: It is difficult to find.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff and family were very friendly but their lack of English encouraged us to use our limited Italian!
Cons:
5.6 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff though very limited English spoken - but I guess you have to remember you are staying with a family on their working farm. Room was large, well equipped and comfortable enough given the price. Good pool and lots of outdoor communal spaces. Good to be served fresh food from the farm. Close to town.
Cons: Breakfast was more limited than is usual in continental places - lots of cakes, not much in the way of cereals, breads, hams or cheeses. Not the usual coffee options either, just thick black coffee from a large pot. The rooms in the old farmhouse where I stayed are more basically furnished, though the same price, as the newer rooms in the outbuildings. My shower was broken. There are a lot of rooms, it can get surprisingly busy. The hotel has a good local reputation for catering but dinner was disappointing on the one night we ate there.

Cons: The hotel design

Pros: Lovely setting for this stunning modernized farmhouse built in the local style (masseria). Easy access to motorway near Ostuni, which makes the location perfect for exploring southern Puglia by car. Hosts are super welcoming and very happy to provide travel advice. Breakfast is wonderful, varied and largely homemade. It was very relaxing to spend some time by the pool in the morning before a long day of exploration or to take stroll around the grounds in the evening. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms which offered the perfect balance between rustic and modern.
Cons: No negatives at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, super nice place and staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's very conveniently located and it's easy to get to most of the interesting towns with 30-45 minutrs from here. Fernando Cavallo and his team are incredibly hospitable and made us feel like guests in their own home! We'd get daily recommendations on which towns to visit and which restaurants to eat at and all his suggestions were top notch. They are very caring and attentive hosts! Our seven year old just loved being there and playing with their pet dogs and cats! Breakfast service is very good and the rooms are large and simply lovely. The masseria is over 300 years old and you feel like you're living in a piece of Puglia's history. We're going to recommend masseria boezio to all our friends and look forward to going back!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The welcoming was perfect and very warm. The house is beautiful and calm.
Cons: Wi-Fi is not usable in the bedroom, only in the living-room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old farmhouse and a home away from home. Lovely welcome and a perfect place to relax and unwind. The room was stunning with a great shower and a very comfortable bed. Walking and sitting in the grounds was wonderful and so peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of homemade cakes and jams. A new pool was being built and if that had been there for us we would've stayed for our whole holiday! Ostuni is beautiful with lots of great restaurants and great bars with amazing views. Shopping was good too. All in all the best part of our trip and we will definitely be back! Huge thanks to Fernando and Enzo (and Bianchi, Pippa and Mickey)
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!

The Ostuni Palace Hotel is right across the street from the the Corso Vittorio Emmanuel Viewpoint for photos of Ostuni as below. The jelly candies in the reception area were delicious. Pros: The price we paid is far too much for the hotel. The hotel is nice, the location is fine, not too far from the city centre, like 15 min walk, the view over the city is very nice, however the price we paid of almost 200 euro per night is too much for this.
Cons: The breakfast could be better

Cons: Swimming pool closes at 7 pm which is too early, should be open till 10 or 11 pm like other hotels.
7.1 Good

Cons: Pool bar was a small shop with warm beer - expect more from 4 star hotel Rooms are quite basic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was perfect. Hotel clean. Personal very welcoming. Thanks to Leonardo and Nicoletta. They let us use the parking of the hotel and the swimmimg pool after we checked out. The swimmimg is on a top of the hill behind the hotel. It offers a wonderful view on Ostuni. There is a free navette shuttle to go up there.
Cons: I didn't like leaving the hotel. All was so good.

7.9 Good
Pros: Modern, tidy hotel with excellent breakfast and kind staff. Parking is 100m from the main entrance on the other side of the road. Downtown is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
Cons: We asked a quite room but on that saturday night there was a birthday party on the terrace until 1.30 a.m. with extremly loud music and guest. Our room was close to the terrace so we could not sleep until the end of the party.

7.9 Good
Pros: Good for one night stopover. Pool lovely with great views. Room a bit tight but adequate. Breakfast was in a large room and was very good.
Cons: It's built into a hillside so there's little external light inside. Would be a bit oppressive for me for a longer stay. Had a bit of a corporate feel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A good hotel, a huge bedroom and a helpful reception team, but out of the town, not far, but far enough for me to not give top marks on location (good parking though, and free of charge)
10.0 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, lovely breakfast, friendly hostess.
Cons: Room could have been better equipped - needed pillow cases on spare pillows, no blankets, would have liked a kettle / tea coffee making facilities in room as accommodation was a long way from any bars or cafes
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and house, very quiet, super host (and dog), secured parking, great breakfast, warm down comforter.
Cons: The shower seemed small and tight even for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked masseria Tolla because of the pictures, little did we know that Giuseppe and Macchitella will be the best hosts ever! We had a great time, our room was super clean and super cool, bed was perfect and duvet cover was like a cloud! Breakfast was good, coffe and juice also. They have a dog named Leo, Leo likes panini and to sleep during the day
Cons: Nothing....everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Every year more than a hundred nights I spend in different hotels and I can say with certainty that I visited the best place ever! Having stayed here two nights I plunged into the Italy of the 19th century. This is a gorgeous, cozy and very comfortable place! I recommendet to all!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is very unusual, loved that we stayed in the old part of the Masseria. The hosts were very nice and gave us great recommendations for sightseeing/eating places in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the Masseria Tolla B&B and loved Giuseppe & Manuela so much! They were the perfect hosts and they were both so nice. The property was gorgeous! Manuela prepared cappuccinos for us every morning. The room we stayed in was perfect. The shower was great and our bed was very comfortable! The road leading to the house is very easy to find. It was great having a place to park with a gate too for security! Ostuni is a perfect town and we loved heading there for dinner while staying here. It's a 5 minute drive to the old town of Ostuni from here. Don't forget to check out the haunted mansion with the two giant trees as you exit their main street! We also loved Leo, Giuseppe's dog! Bello bello bello! Grazie mille!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very friendly and welcome us warmly, we felt like home! They even made us a tour around the property. The masseria is beautiful and so unique. Breakfast was simple but great, fresh bread and a great capuccino. We definitely would like to come back !
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean. Lovely location. Helpful owners .
Cons: We were travelling by train , so location was too far out, but would have been fine if travelling by car. Some more comfortable outdoor seating would have been good, as the B and B is in a lovely setting. Breakfast only available for 1 hour from 8.30. Would have preferred slightly early start time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location outside of the old town! Perfect for those who travel by car. A very friendly and helpful owner :)
Cons: Currently no options for food at the property. However, restaurant options are 10 min away by car.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern, well presented rooms in a farmhouse setting.
Cons: Access is via a very poorly maintained road. The turn off is on a very bad bend in the road. It is safer to pass the entrance and “double back” to access. Breakfast was very poor by Italian standards.
Hotel La Terra - Ostuni - Building
10
9.0 Excellent (245 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel La Terra places you in the heart of Ostuni, steps from L'Ulivo Che Canta and Piazza della Liberta. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and an elevator.

Pros: Great staff and location. Staff helped to organise a birthday surprise for my wife. Lovely, massive room. Cool in the heat.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Kindness, building
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant room in pleasant building, great location near the Centro Storico. Nice breakfast with various home-made goodies.
Cons: No complaints other than striking me as expensive for what it is. A word for the unwary: don't try to drive right up to the hotel. Following satnav took us up a road that turned out to be illegal, and in any case, the streets are too narrow to pass. Phone the hotel - they're happy to tell you where to park and to pick you up with your luggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything but if I had to choose one thing, the interior design and attention to detail
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, really comfy bed. The staff were excellent , very helpful. Wonderful location. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ostuni.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful historical hotel in a central location. Staff very helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ostuni. Look forward to staying here again in the future.
Cons: Not applicable
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked the room and the way it was decorated. felt spacious and comfortable. loved the tiled flooring. the rest of the hotel was equally beautiful. there were a lot of hidden spaces to hang out and relax or gather. They were both indoor and outdoor. Very individual and unpretentious.
Cons: The shower is very small and I would have liked a better iron. The iron for use in the rooms was a folded traveling iron without steam and it didn't serve the purpose at all.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location in the historic centre of the town, very close to good restaurants and bars. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel facilities are good, including a small terrace. Prices and reasonable and the breakfast is good.
Cons: No problems.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet ,comfortable , classic and clean. Ac worked very well, staff very friendly and helpful, drove us to and from parking and helped with bags, helped recommend restaurants and called other hotels for us to help with future plans . Breakfast very delicious with local ingredients , eggs, fruits pastry bread and coffee. Staff excellent and friendly
Cons: WiFi did not work in our room -only in the lobby or common areas . Parking was off site , which is unavoidable in Ostuni since the streets are tiny, but we parked first in town then walked to hotel until we figured out the parking situation, best to call them first to arrange parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in the historical center of Ostuni it was a great place to stay….but make sure you call the hotel to arrange parking/pick-up as you can not drive to the hotel given it's location….I tried though :) got close...

Pros: We are a family with 3 (6,8,10 ages) kids from Amsterdam. We loved our stay here. The property is Extremely beautiful and well maintained. This goes for the terrain both and the rooms. We love the attention to detail in every spot, every corner, on the terrain, in the rooms, in the restaurant. All the areas are beautiful and thought trough. On the property there are everywhere olive trees, grapes, fruit trees, herbs, that is really special. At night there are lights in the trees, that is so beautiful. The pool set up is very nice, spacious, depth is perfect - as it has a shallow part ánd a very deep part. There are lounges with beds and normal beds and chairs around the pool, fits all needs. It is a real family business, it is great to see Fabio and his family create such a wonderful place and service. At night you can eat at the restaurant on the terrain. There is a daily changing menu. Watch out because It is DELICIOUS. You will not be able to stop eating :). It is so good, fresh, diverse, taste-full. A real Italian home cooking experience. The rooms are beautiful and have classical furniture as you can see on all the pictures. We also loved the fact that the property is not so big- no overbooking- it has the exact right amount of rooms in order to keep the personal feeling. It is a oasis of rest and perfection in a rural area. Thank you Fabio & family for creating such a wonderful place!
Cons: The only thing i missed is real Italian espresso at the breakfast, if that was there i would never have left anymore :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a large property with a lovely pool and family friendly. You can have a lovely breakfast and Dinner on site or easily head into Ostuni. The owner was charming. It’s great value too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at many Agritourismo is this was definitely one of the best. Great location, beautiful accommodation and facilities. But best of all was Fabio and his fabulous staff. We had my wife’s 70th birthday celebration lunch ( just the four hours and 8 courses ! ) in the restaurant which was brilliant. They couldn’t do enough for us and the food was as amazing as it was plentiful. Great pool and children’s play area. We absolutely loved it they made us so welcome too. It’s not the cheapest but definitely the best we have stayed in.
Cons: Nothing it was all fantastic.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice owners, very hospital and helpful. Great dinners made of natural products including some from their own garden and very good breakfasts. Good facilities for children including swimming pool and playground.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good staff. Lovely pool. Great place to relax and have a swim and a drink after a day touring. Central location close to interesting towns and the beaches.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a bit better. More fresh fruit and pastries.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely warm and friendly Wellcome, this couple are very nice and go out of their way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was fabulous, best shower ever. Very traditional Spanish style decor. The pool was amazing, and the surrounding area with fig and olive trees were beautiful.
Cons: The coffee.

Pros: The breakfast and dinner were wonderful and all the staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very welcoming family - a pleasant place, low key, nice surroundings and traditional stop over which is what we were after. Good home cooking. Expect kitch!
Cons: Room was a bit of a mixture - for example you couldn't open the window and get into the bathroom at the same time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Remote location outside Ostuni with a great pool area and very nice staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Small and pleasant hotel located in the middle of very old olive trees. Play place for kids and swimming pool in a welcoming environment. Coming from the Adriac coast the way to there crossing Ostuni is not easy... but worthwhile.

Pros: Fabulous building really enjoyed the tranquility and the ever so helpful staff
Cons: Restaurant food for lunch a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We very much enjoyed our stay at the Novecento. The hotel was lovely and had lots of character. The pool was beautiful and a very relaxing place to spend time. One of the best things about the hotel was the staff, particularly Merilyn and Roberta, who we had more contact with. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and happy to offer information about the local area, restaurants, beach clubs etc and made any reservations needed. Although the hotel was a little out of town, this was a positive as it only added to the peaceful atmosphere. It was easy to drive into Ostuni or take a taxi in the evening. We would love to visit Ostuni again and would definitely stay at the Hotel Park Novecento.
Cons: Nothing.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff were amazing, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble
Cons: Pool needs updating
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great. We had a problem that needed a hospital visit. The general manager took us there stayed translated for us and brought us back. Wonderful. They are very caring and the facilities for a 12 roomed hotel are excellent
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved loved loved the staff personal service, whether it was dealing with requests, volunteering information, remembering what you liked for breakfast or just chatting. Some staff were good and some were fantastic! We loved the relaxed style and that as it is a small hotel sometimes there is nobody else around and we had the pool to ourselves. It was a great location to be a base for sightseeing.
Cons: We didn't have a car for half the week but were happy to walk into town but it would have been nice even if only on a couple of nights in the week to have had the option of dinner in the hotel, though we understood the reasoning behind the decision not to provide evening dinners.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room, very clean (maybe a bit small and the lighting was not brilliant), however we had outside space where we sat in the morning and evening.
Cons: Nothing - all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff and peacefulness
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location to visit Alberobello and the white hilltop towns of the area.
Cons: The rooms are not large but typical of an older building.

Pros: The location was gorgeous. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The humidity and the smell in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Welcome, very typical, nice and clean lodging, excellent dinner
Cons: Everything was ok
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place. Very warm welcome. Got a private guided tour around the whole place with its over 1200 years old olive gardens. Room with very simple furniture, but has the farmers charme. Compared to the inner square of the Masseria and the whole building in general, which looks like in a fairy tale, it could be in a little better shape. Quietness everywhere (no wonder it serves as yoga and silence retreat, too), access to everything and everywhere. Very nice dinner, good quality; breakfast has sweet and salty variety of the place. Staff is supportive, friendly and decent. All in all amazing and worth to come back!!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very nice host and the price. We had a very nice stay. Recommended!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay! Really comfortable, gorgeous setting and delicious breakfast.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice location Nice breakfast
Cons: The double bed were actually two single beds. The mezzanine was less comfy than thought No Internet (no WiFi poor data connectivity) 10 euros for a plate of unripe fruit. Extremely small shower
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food, charming quaint atmosphere
Cons: Kitchen facility in room needed updating
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice Masseria in a building of 1600. Lovely dinner in charming courtyard.
Cons: Old fashioned furniture
6.3 Good
Pros: We had 2 rooms, one was not air conditioned as described- only a fan was provided. The furniture was old and the lounge looked very worn and grimy. Whilst the rooms were disappointing, the dinner was not. We had dinner included and ordered the antipasti and a main. I can’t even begin to describe how much food was in the first course. There were 8 different dishes and each was huge! We could barely fit in any of our mains and it was all very nicely done.

Cons: The rooms have a bit of an ikea feel. They are nice, but this modern style is quite unexpected when you are going for the old school masseria experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely staff, so relaxed
8.8 Excellent

Cons: No wifi and Vodaphone reception was very patchy. Hard if you require this for future accommodation bookings. Breakfast was a bit limited if sweet cakes are not your thing.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: All good, place was exceptionally clean, buffet type breakfast, but served to you at your table, very nice touch, and plenty,
Cons: No dislikes at all.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We went with only moderate expectations given the name of the hotel and first impressions of the low rise hotel on a busy road weren’t great. However we were won over by the staff of this family run hotel. First Aldo gave very good advice as to where to park our car when visiting the historic centre of Ostuni and the next morning we were served a very good breakfast and were offered very good advice on nearby places to visit by the owner. We had chosen the hotel because it offered free parking and despite being on a busy road, with the windows closed and the quiet air conditioning on, had a very good night’s sleep.
Cons: The bathroom was very small
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host, the two quys, were very friendly. We felt during all our stay very welcome. Breakfast was great with fresh juice and fruits. Many thanks. Highly recommend.
Cons: Shower cabin was a bit small, but othewise we were very pleased.
9.6 Excellent

7.9 Good
Pros: Was clean and we stayed all the weekend at the Hotel and it was a great relaxing time. Not bored at all.(gym,pools,5min walk the beach)
Cons: Food was Poor. Daytime only panini (cold sandwich) no lunch opportunity. Breakfast...I expected more fruits and olives (local fresh fruits) it wasn`t like that . No fresh fruit juice...
7.5 Good
Pros: We liked then location which is ideal for visits to interesting places in the area.
Cons: The hotel is largely used to accommodate large tour parties, for example Austrian. The impression is that they are the ones that matter and because of their numbers they make quite a lot of noise. It is possible to find a quiet part of the restaurant and pool areas once one is familiar with then hotel. Another problem was the absence of any written detail and it took time to understand the procedure for entering and leave the property through the unmanned security barriers. A n approach by a barrier arm was not an option but a large green gate could be opened by telephoning reception, as we eventually learnt, and in time a ring on a pad near the entrance prompted opening by a number plate recognition system. Clearly the coach drivers were familiar with all this, but individual guests like ourselves were given no specific explanation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warmth and Hospitality. Literally on the beach.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Chambre propre
Cons: The hotel is a long walk from the beach. Noise from the road traffic. Noise from the music late at night. Many moskitoes outside, as well as inside the room. Very long Wait at Check-in, for almost 50 minutes. Reception takes way too much time. Buffet breakfast not satisfactory, chemical juice, not much, not appetizing. Bedroom: clean, but no coffee machine, no tissues, no bottle of water and plenty of moskitoes. Many stairs in the hotel, and no lift. Air conditioning in the room, but no heating. The bedroom was cold during the night (end of May).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is very good
Cons: Everything working hoos
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the showers with a strong water pressure
Cons: The fact that I was without any public transport to wonder the town at my leisure
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is absolutely perfect for families travelling with kids. Excellent location, nice rooms, good facilities

Cons: Noisy bathroom
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The food at breakfast and dinner was really good. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: We hired a car which was arranged by the receptionist but we had to get a taxi to collect it and this was expensive at 15 euros. We couldn't find a nice beach.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room in very well located spot. Staff were helpful and friendly. View of the town from the roof terrace is to die for ... especially at sunset with a glass of wine.
Cons: No complaints at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were charming and friendly. The location just outside the city wall was perfect. It is a simple and lovely place to stay.
Cons: It would have been nice if we could have ordered lunch or a drink on the terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, bright and airy. The hotel layout is charming with little terraces with views of the White city of Ostuni and the sea. The breakfast was delicious with a very generous selection of foods. The location was very convenient for exploring the old city and had ample parking. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.
7.9 Good
Pros: Cleanliness ,views , good bed ,reception staff good and breakfast ok.
Cons: It advertises that there was a open restaurant (apparently only occasionally) that there was a swimming pool there isn't one and a hotel shuttle ,again there isn't one. The hotel description needs amending.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and kind reception, excellent location at the foot of Ostuni. Rooms and overall very beautiful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, a short walk into the town. Sunsets on the roof terrace are beautiful! The staff were super friendly and the room had just the right amount of space for 2 nights. The Ostuni beach club was a great recommendation and short drive and the parking onsite made our stay stress free. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!
7.1 Good
Pros: The public areas of the hotel are nice, airy and hospitable, giving a relaxed feel to being at the hotel. The garden area is very pleasing. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety and ambiance. Staff at Reception and Breakfast were helpful and courteous.
Cons: I thought the room was really dated, dark and in need of an uplift.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location in the middle of olive trees. The masseria is simple and original. The swimming pool is lovely, the breakfast in the patio is very relaxing.
Cons: The room we were given Could be more curated and elegant.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: It was not a good surprise to find the hotel nearly empty, and offering no meals apart from a breakfast bar in the morning with no hot food apart from coffee and tea. The excellent duty reception office staff was helpful in providing advice on reaching a good restaurant about 3km away. The hotel's rather isolated situation was to be expected, being typical of many "masserie" in this part of (Puglia) Italy. But we expected its own resources to be better.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The gardens are pretty.
Cons: Is just a motel. For the money we expected more. The staff didn’t help us with anything!! It seemed like everything was too much work - couldn’t even be bothered to assist us to make a restaurant booking! They don’t even offer towels for the pool! I really don’t recommend here if you want a true masseria experience - better to try Frantoio just a short drive away. Way over priced and don’t even have option for beach beds anywhere. The breakfast was dismal and was the first processed spam like ham I’ve ever seen in Italy.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Pool area
Cons: Rooms are very tired Hot water is barely enough for one shower per time No A/C in the rooms Service is unsystematic: they make you feel like you are asking for a big personal favour rather than for service
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location in the huge olive grove. The masseria is beautiful and the swimming pool area is a paradise on a hot day in Puglia.
Cons: Compared to the outdoor area (especially around the swimming pool), the actual room did not meet our expectations. It was well air-conditioned and comfortable, but the owners could improve the decoration and furnitures
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff and family here have been wonderful the two times we stayed. The atmosphere is very mellow, calm, peaceful, relaxing. Not a party place and not a place for loud people. Better for those who want quiet time and nice for those who are traveling by car (it is needed if staying here).
Cons: The room is very basic and expected of a budget accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely olive growth, perfect breakfast and very nice territory.
Cons: Poor WiFi or no connection at all in the room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very quiet and private. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool was great and we certainly enjoyed our stay.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: wonderful swimming pool
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The pool, by far, was the best feature. The live music each evening enhanced the stay.
Cons: The property was / is dated, in need of regular, standard maintenance, lack of modern amenities, poor WiFi connection, Limited food menu (eg same breakfast each and everyday over an 8 day stay) coupled with cost of lunch and dinner that was much higher than high quality restaurants in Ostuni, no pool side service, staff was not as friendly nor helpful as they could have been - plus understaffed.
7.5 Good
Pros: The facilities where good The kids loved the pool
Cons: The rooms where very basic and not attractive at all holes in doors. Needs a revamp and paint in the rooms. The tennis court and soccer field really need a revamp they could have such beautiful things as they have the space but it’s not kept very well
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Checking out
Cons: Room, Food, Location Our bed linen wasn’t changed or bed made properly. Pillows very old. Had to ask for clean towels each day. The terrace was overgrown and impossible to use. The description of the distance to the sea incorrect - it was 700 m walk down to it. The gym very poorly equipped no mats, towel, water, air conditioning didn’t work.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was the same everyday, but done nicely.
Cons: Fantastic pool area totally spoilt by Smoke nearly everyday from some kind of wood / rubbish burner with chimney very close to the pool and pool bar. I reported it to the management at reception 3 times and all they did was give us a bottle of wine with their complements, asked for the manager to contact me, he never did. Please sort the problem in question, I did not want free drink.

7.5 Good
Pros: Quiet location, plenty of parking. Close to other local towns to explore . Great pool suitable for all. Lovely well maintained gardens.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and provided personalized service.
Cons: The door of my room was very hard to close and I felt like I had no privacy as the cover for the front room left the sides open
7.1 Good
Pros: poorly presented and not very good.
Cons: really no tennis court. the swimming pool is over crowded.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at La Piana degli Ulivi in Ostuni, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Archaeological and Natural Park of Santa Maria di Agnano and Piazza della Liberta. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Anna was very pleasant and helpful in communication prior to arrival. The grounds are nice but the weather was poor when we arrived so our plan to watch the sun set on Ostuni didn't happen unfortunately. For the area this place is decent value for money. Room was large but was a family room so it was 2 spare single beds.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. Shower was small and didn't drain properly which is something I particularly dislike. Toilet plumbing very loud. No WiFi.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location. Outdoor facilities. Very friendly owners
Cons: Room was small. Bathroom needed an overhaul
7.9 Good
Pros: Great views, good pool, helpful host so long as one spoke Italian. Good choice of reataurants in Ostuni. Good marina and beaches nearby.
Cons: Initially had a very small and unsuitable room, but changed after one night. On a main road so not pleasant to walk from hotel. No restaurants within walking distance which meant driving every night.
7.9 Good
Pros: It is simple accomedations but with a great location with an amazing view of Oustini!!! The room had everything we needed (though it would be nice if the was an extra roll of toilette papper so you do not have to ask for it when you almost run out). There is parking and we were allowed to park our bikes on the terrace. The daughter was very helpful and spoke good English but her parents do not speak English at all. She recommended a place to buy pizza and even gave us an menu. The pool was great after a warm day of cycling and we very much enjoyed our afternoon at the pool with views of Oustini!!! The La Piana Degli Ulivi is a little bit outside of the town so you need a car or bike(only steep uphill to get to shops etc) to get there.
Cons: - The breakfast is mainly sweet and not freshly baked bread to choose from. - A big minus with children or beeing on a cycling trip when you want to start early is that breakfast is not served until 8:30. - Hard beds (like most places in Puglia)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners made our stay exceptional. They are friendly and accommodating. The view is spectacular of the old city and the water.
Cons: Would go back, everything was perfect.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view of Ostuni and localization specially for people traveling by car
Cons: We book it because of the swimming pool that was not working. So it was expensive according to the quality of other places where we stayed with higher standing
7.1 Good
Pros: Handy location with parking and beautiful views to Ostuni and the sea. Very quiet. Nice sunny pool area.
Cons: Room needed maintenance. Curtains fell down and bathroom floor dirty and sink almost blocked. No glasses or cups or shampoo.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was good. The property itself was lovely and the host was kind and accommodating.
Cons: The room had a bathroom smell. There were no screens on the window, but mosquitos around so the windows had to be kept shut which made it really quite stuffy. The pool was closed for the season.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Anna and mother very helpful and friendly
Cons: No wifi; were not aware pool and garden area unavailable. Breakfast not included, was extra.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Anna was both welcoming and helpful Erminio her dad was always friendly and good for a second cappuccino did his best with limited English Views were spectacular and location amid the olive trees was Peaceful and relaxing. woven sette outside room on shared terrace was ideal. breakfast served outside under covered veranda with fresh produce swimming pool was a bonus in a hot afternoon
Cons: Shower cubicle was past its best
